Hyderabad : Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Centre for Staff Training and Development (CSTD) organized a awareness program on “Block Chain Technology” on Wednesday at the campus. Prof G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director Academic, BRAOU attended as Chief Guest for the program, she explained that changing circumstances, universities providing certificates to students through blockchain technology, save time but also increase transparency and accountability.
Blockchain technology will be useful for issuing and verifying digital certificates to students quickly, ensuring their accurate authenticity, and preventing forgery. She revealed that it will be implemented in the university soon. It would allow students to easily download their certificates from anywhere.
Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, Registrar of the university attended as the guest of honors for the program and spoke on the occasion. He stated that blockchain technology would prevent tampering with certificates or altering student data. He explained that these training programs were organized to provide complete understanding of this newly introduced technology to the university staff.
Prof. P. Venkata Rama, Director CSTD preside over the program, he said that in the coming days more training programs will be conducted to aware the university employees. Arepalli Om Srinivas, Implementation Manager, Sapphirus Systems pvt LTD; Harini Ravikumar, Blockchain Expert; All the Directors, Heads of the Branches, Deans, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members attended the program.

హైదరాబద్ : మారిన పరిస్థితులకు అనుగుణంగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు విద్యార్థులకు సర్టిఫికెట్లను బ్లాక్చెయిన్ టెక్నాలజీ ద్వారా అందించడం వల్ల అటు సమయం ఆదా కావడమే కాకుండా పారదర్శకత, జవాబుదారీతనం పెరగనుందని డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. జి. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి వివరించారు. విశ్వవిద్యాలయం, సెంటర్ ఫర్ స్టాఫ్ ట్రైనింగ్ అండ్ డెవలప్మెంట్ (సి.ఎస్.టి.డి.) ఆధ్వర్యంలో “బ్లాక్చెయిన్ టెక్నాలజీ” పై నాలుగు అర్ధ రోజుల శిక్షణ, అవగాహన కార్యక్రమానికి ప్రొ. జి. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరై ప్రారంభించారు.
అనంతరం ప్రొ. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ బ్లాక్చెయిన్ టెక్నాలజీ విద్యార్ధులకు త్వరితగతిన డిజిటల్ సర్టిఫికెట్లను జారీ చేయడానికి, ధృవీకరించడానికి, వాటి కచ్చితమైన ప్రామాణికతను నిర్ధారించడానికి, ఫోర్జరీని నిరోధించడానికి ఉపయోగపడుతుందన్నారు. త్వరలోనే విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో అమలు చేయనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. తద్వారా తమ యూనివర్సిటీ విద్యార్ధులకు జారీ చేసే సర్టిఫికేట్ లను ప్రపంచంలో ఎక్కడి నుంచి అయినా ఆయా కంపెనీల అధికారులు ఆన్లైన్ లోనే సదరు సర్టిఫికేట్ ను వెరిఫికేషన్ చేసే అవకాశం ఉందని ఆమె పేర్కొన్నారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో గౌరవ అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్న విశ్వవిద్యాలయ రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. యల్. విజయా కృష్ణా రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ బ్లాక్చెయిన్ టెక్నాలజీ ద్వారా సర్టిఫికెట్లు ట్యాంపర్ చేయడానికి గానీ, విద్యార్ధి డేటా మార్చడానికి ఆస్కారం ఉండదని, పేర్కొన్నారు. అదేవిధంగా విద్యార్థులకు సులువుగా ఎక్కడి నుంచి అయినా డౌన్ లోడ్ చేసుకోవడానికి అవకాశం ఉంటుందని వెల్లడించారు. నూతనంగా ప్రవేశపెట్టనున్న ఈ టెక్నాలజీ పై విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో పనిచేసే సిబ్బంది పూర్తి అవగాహన కల్పించేలా ఈ శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి సీఎస్టీడీ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. పి. వెంకటరమణ అధ్యక్షత వహించారు. ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ రాబోయే రోజుల్లో సీ.ఎస్.టీ.డీ. ఆధ్వర్యంలో విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉద్యోగులకు బ్లాక్చెయిన్ టెక్నాలజీపై అవగాహన కల్పించడానికి మరిన్ని శిక్షణా / అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో సాఫిరస్ సిస్టమ్స్ ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్, ఇంప్లిమెంటేషన్ మేనేజర్ అరేపల్లి ఓం శ్రీనివాస్; బ్లాక్చెయిన్ నిపుణురాలు, హరిణి రవికుమార్; అన్ని విభాగాల అధిపతులు, డిరెక్టర్లు, డీన్లు, అధ్యాపక సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.
