Hyderabad: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WE HUB at its campus on Friday. The MoU was signed by Registrar, Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy and WE Hub CEO, Ms. Sita Pallacholla along with other officials in the presence of Prof Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU.
Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice Chancellor said the Government of Telangana taken an initiative for Women Entrepreneurs, to transform the entrepreneurial landscape by fostering innovation and leadership among women in both urban and rural areas, thus effecting social empowerment through economic enablement. “We Enable” – A Collaborative Program to Empower Female Student Learners by building entrepreneurial mind-set and enhancing employability Skills.
Ms. Sita Pallacholla, CEO, WE Hub said that WE Hub is India’s first state-led incubator focused exclusively on promoting women entrepreneurship. It supports women from diverse socio-economic backgrounds across urban and rural areas through access to incubation, mentorship, funding, and market linkages. WE Hub also works with students to build entrepreneurial enhance employability and provide internship opportunities.
WE Hub collaborates with national and international partners to scale impact and drive systemic change in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. WE-Enable is a customized future-ready program designed to equip female students pursuing any undergraduate or postgraduate degree. The program follows a structured in three phase journey to guide / mentor students through self-awareness, skill enhancement, and real-world application.

హైదరాబాద్ : మహిళా విద్యార్ధులు ఆర్ధిక స్వావలంభన సాధించడం, వారు పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలుగా ఎదగాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి పేర్కొన్నారు. మహిళా సాధికారత కోసం పంచేస్తున్న వి-హబ్ తో కలిసి “వి – ఎనేబుల్” అనే కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభిస్తున్నట్లు ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి వెల్లడించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా వి – హబ్ తో అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ ప్రతిష్టాత్మకమైన అవగాహనా ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకుంది. ఈ మేరకు వీసీ ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి సమక్షంలో రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. యల్. విజయ కృష్ణా రెడ్డి, వి-హబ్ సీఈఓ సీతా పల్లచోళ్ల అవగాహన ఒప్పంద పత్రాలపై సంతకాలు చేశారు.
విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య ఘంటా చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ మహిళా విద్యార్ధినులను పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలుగా తయారు చేయడం కోసం తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చొరవ తీసుకుందని అన్నారు. పట్టణ, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలలోని మహిళల్లో సరికొత్త ఆవిష్కరణ, నాయకత్వ లక్షణాలను పెంపొందించడం ద్వారా వారిలో ఆర్థిక సామర్థ్యం సమాజ అభివృద్ధికి ఉపయోగపడుతుందని వివరించారు.
వి-హబ్ సీ.ఈ.ఓ సీతా పల్లచోళ్ల మాట్లాడుతూ మహిళలను ఆర్ధిక, పారిశ్రామిక రంగాల్లో ప్రోత్సహించడంపై ప్రత్యేకంగా దృష్టి సారించి, దేశంలోనే మొదటిసారిగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ నేతృత్వంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ఇంక్యుబేటర్ ‘వి-హబ్’ అని వివరించారు. ఇది పట్టణ, గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలలోని విభిన్న సామాజిక-ఆర్థిక నేపథ్యాల నుండి వచ్చిన మహిళలకు ఇంక్యుబేషన్, మెంటర్షిప్, నిధులు ఏర్పాటు చేయడం, మార్కెట్ కు అనుసంధానం చేయడం ద్వార మహిళలను ఆర్ధిక స్వావలంభన వైపు తీసుకెల్లుతున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. వారికి ఉపాధిని మెరుగుపరచడానికి, అందించడానికి వి-హబ్ విద్యార్థులతో కలిసి పనిచేస్తుందని చెప్పారు. తమ శిక్షణలో వచ్చే సరికొత్త ఆవిష్కరణలపై ముందు చూపుతో వి-హబ్ జాతీయ అంతర్జాతీయ పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలతో అనుసంధానమై పనిచేస్తూ ఆవిష్కర్తల ఆర్ధిక పరిపుష్టికి వి – హబ్ సహకరిస్తుందిని వెల్లడించారు.
