హైదరాబాద్ : విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలలో ఆర్తిఫీసియల్ ఇంటలిజెన్స్ (ఏఐ) ఆధారిత హైబ్రిడ్ విద్య అవసరమని తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ విద్యాశాఖ కార్యదర్శి డా.యోగితా రాణా, ఐ.ఏ.ఎస్. పేర్కొన్నారు. డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో నిర్వహిస్తున్న “సామాజిక సాధికారత వారోత్సవాల్లో” భాగంగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలోని పరిపాలనా భవనంలో ఏఐ డీఈఏ ల్యాబ్స్లో కీలక డిజిటల్ సాధికారత కార్యక్రమాలైన 2.0 ల్యాబ్ ను ప్రభుత్వ విద్యాశాఖ కార్యదర్శి డా. యోగితా రాణా ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొని ప్రారంభించారు. అనంతరం ఆమె యూనివర్సిటీ యూట్యూబ్, రేడియో ఛానల్ (బీఆర్ఏఓయూటీవీ, హాయ్ బ్రో) ఎల్ఎంఎస్, ఓఈఆర్, బీఆర్ఏఓయూ డిజీలైబ్రరీ, ఐబుక్ లను ప్రారంభించారు.
డా. యోగితా రాణా మాట్లాడుతూ అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ వినూత్న కార్యక్రమాలను ఆవిష్కరిస్తోందని వివరించారు. సామజిక శాస్త్రాలలో నాణ్యమైన కంటెంట్లో ఉన్న అంతరాన్ని తప్పనిసరిగా పరిష్కరించాలని సూచించారు. విద్యను మరింత సరళంగా, ప్రభావవంతంగా మార్చడానికి ఏఐ-ఆధారిత, హైబ్రిడ్ టీచింగ్ విధానాలు అవసరమన్నారు. ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను మెరుగుపరచడానికి నైపుణ్య ప్రయోగశాలలను ఉన్నత విద్యతో అనుసంధానించడం తద్వారా వచ్చే ప్రయోజనాలను ఆమె వివరించారు. డిజిటల్ పురోగతులను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ, అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న విద్యా వ్యవస్థలో భాగంగా ఐ-గవర్నమెంట్ పోర్టల్, టీసీఎస్ ఏఐ సాధనాలను పేర్కొన్నారు. శ్రేష్ఠత, వివేకం, విద్య మాత్రమే సాధికారతకు నిజమైన మార్గమని పేర్కొంటూ, రాజ్యాంగ నిర్మాత డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ ఆదర్శాలను ఆమె గుర్తుచేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో విశిష్ట అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్న కళాశాల విద్యా శాఖ కమిషనర్ శ్రీదేవసేన, ఐ.ఏ.ఎస్., మాట్లాడుతూ అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ ఓ ప్రణాళికా ప్రకారం డిజిటల్ రంగం వైపు అడుగులు వేస్తోందని, తీసుకుంటున్న వినూత్న నిర్ణయాలు ప్రభుత్వ డిగ్రీ కళాశాలలు అనుసరిస్తున్నాయని వివరించారు. మహిళా విద్య, సాధికారతకు ‘బి.ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్’ ఆదర్శప్రాయుడని కొనియాడారు. రాజ్యాంగ నిర్మాత దార్శనికత విద్యా సంస్థలకు మార్గదర్శకంగా నిలుస్తోందని పేర్కొన్నారు. కార్యక్రమంలో గౌరవ అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్న తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాల విద్య డైరెక్టర్ డా. ఇ. నవీన్ నికోలస్, ఐ.ఏ.ఎస్., మాట్లాడుతూ అంబేద్కర్ యూనివర్సిటీ పేద, గ్రామీణ విద్యార్ధులకు ఉపయోగపడేలా నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటోందని, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ సహకారంతో రానున్న రోజుల్లో అవగాహనా ఒప్పందాలు చేసుకోనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. వేసవిలో ప్రభుత్వ ఉపాధ్యాయులకు ఏఐ (AI) శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించడానికి ప్రణాలికలు రూపొందిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి విశ్వవిద్యాలయ వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ప్రొ. ఘంటా చక్రపాణి అధ్యక్షత వహించారు. వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ మాట్లాడుతూ, తక్కువ ఫీజుతో అందరికి అందుబాటులో టాటా-అంబేద్కర్ గ్రాడ్యుయేషన్ (TAG) ప్రోగ్రామ్ను త్వరలో ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. ఆధునుకీకరణ, సామర్థ్యాన్ని లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకుని పది కొత్త డిజిటల్ కార్యక్రమాలను యూనివర్సిటీ అభివృద్ధి చేసిందని పేర్కొన్నారు. అభ్యసన ఫలితాలను మెరుగుపరచడానికి ఇవి దోహదపడుతాయన్నారు. విద్యార్థులకు సులభంగా అర్ధం అయ్యేలా, అన్ని సేవలూ ఒకే దగ్గర పొందేలా ఓ పటిష్టమైన లెర్నింగ్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ సిస్టమ్ను ప్రవేశపెట్టామని వెల్లడించారు. ఆన్ లైన్ లో అభ్యసించే వారికి ఒకేసారి పది వేల అడ్మిషన్ల వరకు ఇచ్చేలా ఈ వ్యవస్థ ను రూపొందించామని తెలిపారు. అన్ని విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల ప్రయోజనం కోసం ఓపెన్ ఎడ్యుకేషనల్ రిసోర్సెస్ (OER)ను ప్రోత్సహిస్తూ, “తెలంగాణ తరగతి గది”గా అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీని తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని చెప్పారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి, రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. ఎల్. విజయ కృష్ణా రెడ్డి, ప్రొ. డి. రవీంద్రనాథ్ సోలమన్, కంప్యూటర్ సెంటర్ ఇంచార్జ్ వసంత రావు, ప్రొ. పల్లవి కబ్డే, టీసీఎస్ అయాన్ దక్షిణ భారత హెడ్ డి. కృష్ణ, ఒఈఆర్ నిపుణులు సుషుమ్నా రావు, ప్రొ. ఏ. ఆర్. డి. ప్రసాద్, ప్రొ. మధుకర్, అధ్యాపక సిబ్బంది, నాన్ టీచింగ్ ఉద్యోగులు, పలు సంఘాల నేతలు పాల్గొన్నారు. అంతకముందు పరిపాలనా భవనం వద్ద డా. బి.ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ జయంతి సందర్భంగా డా. బి ఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహానికి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించారు నివాళి అర్పించారు.

Hyderabad : As part of the “Social Empowerment Week” and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrations at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University Campus on Tuesday. The chief guest Dr. Yogita Rana, IAS, Principal Secretary, Education, Government of Telangana launched the Key Digital Empowerment Initiatives – BRAOU 2.0 (BRAOUTV, HiBRAOU, LMS, OER, BRAOUdigiLibrary, iBook, etc) at AI DEA Labs, Administrative Building.
Dr. Yogita Rana emphasized the need for innovative models of BRAOU that can also be adopted by other universities. Highlighting a key concern, she pointed out the gap in quality content within the social sciences that must be addressed. She advocated for the integration of AI-driven and hybrid learning modes to make education more flexible and effective. She also stressed the importance of linking skill labs with higher education to enhance employability. Referring to digital advancements, she mentioned the iGovt portal and TCS AI tools as part of the evolving educational ecosystem. She concluded by invoking B.R. Ambedkar’s ideals, stating that excellence, wisdom, and education remain the only true path to empowerment.
Distinguished Guest Smt. A. Sridevasena, IAS Commissioner, Collegiate Education, stated that Government Degree Colleges are following the model set by BRAOU. She highlighted B. R. Ambedkar as a champion of women’s education and empowerment. She described him as a great leader whose vision continues to guide educational institutions.
Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, Dr.B.RAmbedkar Open University presided over function. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani stated that the Tata–Ambedkar Graduation (TAG) Program would be established in BRAOU with a focus on affordability and accessibility. To support this, the university has developed ten new initiatives aimed at modernization and efficiency. These initiatives emphasize digitization and cost-effective solutions to enhance learning outcomes. A robust Learning Management System has been introduced to ensure easy and flexible access for students. The system is designed to handle up to 10,000 admissions at a time, expanding the university’s reach. He further described BRAOU as the “Telangana Classroom,” promoting Open Educational Resources (OER) for the benefit of all universities.
Dr. E. Naveen Nicolas, IAS, Director of School Education, Govt. of Telangana was the Guest of honour for the program. Dr. Nicolas stated that recurring budget allocations to BRAOU are supporting several impactful initiatives. He noted that the M.A. Education programme is being pursued in collaboration with the government, along with special coaching for Intermediate failed students through BRAOU. He also mentioned that AI training programs for government teachers are being conducted during the summer.
Dr L Vijaya Krishna Reddy, the Registrar, Prof. Pushpa Chaktrapani, Director (Academic), Prof. Rabindranath Solomon, Prof. Pallavi Kabde, Vasantha Rao, TCSiON South India Head Dundigalla Krishna, In-charge Computer Center, OER expert Sushumna Rao, Prof. A.R.D. Prasad, Prof. Madhukar, Directors, Deans, teaching and non-teaching staff, along with students, were presented. Earlier, at the Administrative Building, floral tributes were offered and homage was paid to the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
