హైదరాబాద్ : దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే (ఎస్.సి.ఆర్), ఈ రోజు అనగా 27.04.2026న సికింద్రాబాద్లోని రైల్ నిలయంలో నిర్వహించిన ఒక సమగ్ర సమీక్షా సమావేశం ద్వారా, రైలు కార్యకలాపాల నిర్వహణలో భద్రత పట్ల తన అంకిత భావాన్ని పునరుద్ఘాటించింది. సిబ్బంది అసురక్షిత పరిస్థితులను నివారిస్తూ తమ విధి నిర్వహణలో చురుకుదనం మరియు అంకితభావాన్ని ప్రదర్శించినందుకుగాను దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ పదమూడు మంది ఉద్యోగులకు “ఎంప్లాయీ ఆఫ్ ది మంత్” భద్రతా అవార్డులను అందజేశారు.
ఈ సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే అదనపు జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సత్య ప్రకాష్ గారితోపాటు దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వేకు చెందిన వివిధ శాఖలకు చెందిన ప్రధానాధిపతులు మరియు ఆరు డివిజన్లు అనగా సికింద్రాబాద్, హైదరాబాద్, విజయవాడ, గుంతకల్లు, గుంటూరు, నాందేడ్ కు చెందిన డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్లు (డీఆర్ఎంలు) వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా పాల్గొన్నారు.
జోన్ పరిధిలోని వివిధ డివిజన్ లకు చెందిన ట్రాక్ మెయిన్టైనర్, పాయింట్స్మెన్, సాంకేతిక నిపుణులు, ట్రైన్ మేనేజర్లు, స్టేషన్ మాస్టర్లు మరియు లోకో పైలట్లతో సహా క్షేత్రస్థాయి సిబ్బందికి ఈ పురస్కారాలు ప్రదానం చేయబడ్డాయి. డివిజన్ల వారీగా పురస్కార గ్రహీతల వివరాలు ఈ క్రింది విధంగా ఉన్నాయి: సికింద్రాబాద్ డివిజన్ – 03, విజయవాడ డివిజన్ – 07, గుంటూరు డివిజన్ – 01 మరియు గుంతకల్లు డివిజన్ – 02. జనరల్ మేనేజర్ అవార్డు గ్రహీతలను అభినందిస్తూ, ఉద్యోగులు తమ విధులను నిర్వర్తించడంలో చూపిన అంకితభావాన్ని, చిత్తశుద్ధిని ప్రశంసించారు. ఇటువంటి గుర్తింపు ఇతర ఉద్యోగులను కూడా అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండటానికి, రైలు కార్యకలాపాలలో భద్రతా ప్రమాణాలను పాటించడానికి ప్రేరేపిస్తుందని ఆయన నొక్కి చెప్పారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ, వేసవి కాలంలో రైల్వే భద్రతను పటిష్టం చేయడానికి చురుకైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవలసిన ఆవశ్యకతను నొక్కి చెప్పారు. తీవ్రమైన వేడిని తట్టుకునేలా ట్రాక్ మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను బలోపేతం చేయాలని, తద్వారా రైళ్ల కార్యకలాపాలు నిరంతరాయంగా కొనసాగేలా చూడాలని ఆయన అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ట్రాక్ స్థిరత్వాన్ని కాపాడటానికి, కంకరను తిరిగి నింపడం మరియు పూడ్చడానికి ప్రాధాన్యతనిస్తూ, క్రమం తప్పకుండా భద్రతా తనిఖీలు నిర్వహించాలని జనరల్ మేనేజర్ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. రైళ్లలో అగ్ని ప్రమాదాలను నివారించడానికి, అగ్ని ప్రమాదాల గురించి సమగ్ర విశ్లేషణ జరిపి, తగిన చర్యలు అమలు చేయాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. కష్టతరమైన వేసవి నెలల్లో అప్రమత్తత మరియు సంసిద్ధత అవసరాన్ని ఆయన నొక్కి చెప్పారు.
భద్రతా అవసరాల విషయంలో ఎన్నడూ రాజీ పడకూడదని జనరల్ మేనేజర్ నొక్కి చెప్పారు. భద్రతకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని అంశాలపై సిబ్బందికి అవగాహన కల్పించడం, అగ్నిమాపక భద్రతా ఏర్పాట్లను బలోపేతం చేయడం, పాయింట్లు మరియు క్రాసింగ్లను తనిఖీ చేయడం, పనులు పూర్తయిన తర్వాత ట్రాక్ల సమీపంలోని నిర్మాణ సామగ్రిని తొలగించడం వంటి వాటి ప్రాముఖ్యతను ఆయన ప్రముఖంగా ప్రస్తావించారు.

Hyderabad : South Central Railway (SCR) reaffirmed its commitment to safety in train operations with a detailed review meeting held today at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway, presented the “Employee of the Month” Safety Awards to thirteen employees in recognition of their dedication and alertness in preventing unsafe conditions. Shri Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, SCR, participated in the meeting along with all Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, and Nanded Divisions joined the review meeting through video conference.
The awards were presented to the frontline staff including Track Maintainers, Point’s man, Technicians, Train Managers, Station Masters and Loco Pilots in appreciation for the alertness, punctual, perfection and dedication in the duty. The Division wise distribution of awardees is as follows: Secunderabad Division – 03, Vijayawada Division – 07, Guntur Division – 01 and Guntakal Division – 02. Congratulating the awardees, the General Manager lauded their devotion and sincerity in discharging duties, emphasizing that such recognition would inspire and motivate other employees to remain vigilant and uphold safety standards in train operations.
Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, emphasized the importance of proactive measures to ensure railway safety during the peak summer season. He directed officials to strengthen track infrastructure to withstand extreme heat, thereby ensuring uninterrupted train operations. General Manager instructed the Officials to conduct regular safety inspections, prioritizing ballast recouping and filling to maintain track stability. He further advised to conduct detailed analysis of fire risks and implement corrective actions to prevent fire incidents in trains, highlighting the need for vigilance and preparedness during the challenging summer months.
The General Manager stressed that safety requirements must never be compromised. He highlighted the importance of sensitizing staff on all aspects of safety, strengthening fire safety arrangements, conducting inspections of points and crossings, and ensuring removal of construction materials near tracks after completion of works.
