Hyderabad: Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines, and BJP Telangana State President, G. Kishan Reddy issued a press release stating that it is a proud moment for the nation as Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Charlapalli Railway Terminal in Hyderabad on 6th January 2025.
The Charlapalli Railway Terminal will be another jewel in the crown of Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad). Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi, who focused on the development of India, and with the guidance of the Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Sri Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Railways across the country are witnessing an unprecedented growth.
The inauguration of Charlapalli Railway Terminal will be a historical milestone, being the first railway terminal to be established in Telangana after the independence of India. By facilitating nearly 24 trains to be run on a daily basis, the Charlapalli Terminal will reduce passenger congestion at Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Kacheguda railway stations.
The Charlapalli Terminal will also become a hub for freight carrying trains, contributing significantly to the industrial development of Hyderabad. The Modi government revolutionized railways by building railway tracks from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, modernizing stations meeting the world-class standards, and introducing semi-speed Vande Bharat trains.
The Modi government has allocated ₹32,000 crore over the past decade to modernize 40 railway stations and laying new railway lines, which reflects the BJP’s special commitment to Telangana state. In the 2024-25 central budget alone, ₹5,336 crores was allocated to Telangana as railway budget, which has never happened even during the united Andhra Pradesh.
Modernization of Secunderabad Railway Station at a cost of ₹720 crores, Nampally Railway station at a cost of ₹350 crores are the best examples of the unprecedented development in the railway infrastructure in Telangana. Despite the non-cooperation of the previous state government, the Charlapalli Terminal has become a reality and is ready for inauguration on January 6, 2025, which is a proud achievement for the state of Telangana.

हैदराबाद: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 6 जनवरी, 2025 को हैदराबाद में चर्लापल्ली रेलवे टर्मिनल का वर्चुअल उद्घाटन करने वाले हैं। यह टर्मिनल भाग्यनगर (हैदराबाद) की शोभा बढ़ाने वाला एक और ज्वेल होगा। केंद्रीय मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी ने आज यहां जारी प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में यह जानकारी दी।
मंत्री ने आगे कहा कि चर्लापल्ली रेलवे टर्मिनल का उद्घाटन एक ऐतिहासिक मील का पत्थर होगा, क्योंकि यह भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद तेलंगाना में स्थापित पहला रेलवे टर्मिनल होगा। यह टर्मिनल लगभग 24 ट्रेनों को प्रतिदिन चलाने में मदद करेगा, जिससे हैदराबाद, सिकंदराबाद और काचीगुडा रेलवे स्टेशनों पर यात्री भीड़भाड़ कम होगी।
चर्लापल्ली टर्मिनल माल ले जाने वाली ट्रेनों का एक केंद्र भी बन जाएगा, जो हैदराबाद के औद्योगिक विकास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देगा। मोदी सरकार ने रेलवे को कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक रेलवे ट्रैक बनाने, विश्व स्तरीय मानकों को पूरा करने वाले स्टेशनों को आधुनिक बनाने और सेमी-स्पीड वंदे भारत ट्रेनें शुरू करने के लिए क्रांति ला दी है।
मोदी सरकार ने पिछले दशक में 40 रेलवे स्टेशनों को आधुनिक बनाने और नए रेलवे लाइनें बिछाने के लिए 32,000 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए हैं, जो तेलंगाना राज्य के प्रति भाजपा की विशेष प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है। 2024-25 के केंद्रीय बजट में, तेलंगाना को रेलवे बजट के रूप में 5,336 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं, जो एकीकृत आंध्र प्रदेश के दौरान भी कभी नहीं हुआ है।
