Hyderabad: Narendra Modi, Prime Minister launched the 19th Rozgar Mela at the National level through video conferencing across 47 locations including Secunderabad, Guntakal and Guntur in SCR jurisdiction during which 51,000 appointment letters were distributed to newly inducted recruits of the Central Government. At Secunderabad, G. Kishan Reddy, Minister of Coal and Mines, Govt. of India handed over appointment letters to 218 newly selected recruits today at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda in the presence of other dignitaries. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway; Siddharth Kati, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, SCR; Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior officials pertaining to Railways and other Central Government ministries were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Narendra Modi, Prime Minister stated that today is a very important occasion for the youth of the Nation as over 51,000 appointment letters have been handed over. He congratulated the young individuals on beginning their service in different sectors like Railways, Banking, Defence, Health, Education etc and emphasized that they have now become an essential part of the Nation’s journey towards Viksit Bharat. The Prime Minister expressed that the duty and responsibility of the appointees is not only towards themselves and their families but also to the society.

He stated that the people are the real strength of any organization and called upon the new recruits to work with integrity and honesty. He emphasized that as government servants one must work towards fulfilling the growing aspirations of the people and strengthening the trust that they have placed on us. He called upon the appointees to keep learning and upgrading their knowledge and skills based on the need. He encouraged them to utilize platforms such as iGot Karmayogi which will help gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities.

While addressing the appointees, the Prime Minister also spoke about his recent visit to five nations and noted that they were enthusiastic about India’s technological progress and eager to be part of the country’s Vikas journey. He informed that discussions and agreements were held in sectors such as semiconductors, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, green technology, critical minerals and science & technology. He stated that these sectors will shape global growth in the coming years and that India’s youth would play a key role in this transformation. He further noted that partnerships with different nations will provide global exposure to the youth and create new opportunities and employment avenues for them.

Speaking on the occasion at Secunderabad, G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister conveyed his wishes to the new recruits and their family members. He informed that in Telangana State, 218 candidates of various Central Ministries are receiving the appointment letters today. He stated that today does not just mark Rozgar Mela but empowerment of youth in the country under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He called upon the newly appointed recruits to serve the Nation with sincerity.
Earlier, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, SCR presented the welcome address. He stated that the Rozgar Mela is a defining moment for thousands of young minds who are joining the Government service today. He stated that today the recruits are not just receiving appointments letter but a commitment letter to contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat.
