Hyderabad : BJP State President N Ramchander Rao wholeheartedly welcome the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the historic High Court judgment disqualifying MLA Danam Nagender.
Rao in a statement said Apex court judgement is undoubtedly a historic victory for democracy and constitutional morality. the Supreme Court’s ruling has proven once again that no matter how powerful someone is in a democracy, they must bow down to the Constitution, and ultimately, the truth prevails.
He said this remarkable victory was made possible through the uncompromising legal battle waged by our BJP Legislative Party (BJLP) to safeguard democracy. The apex court’s verdict serves as a strong slap in the face to the Congress party’s arrogance, sending a clear message that legislative bodies cannot become hubs for political turncoats (Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram) and that democracy cannot be murdered under the guise of “homecomings” (Ghar Wapsi). In this same spirit, we will intensify our legal battles in the courts and our public agitations on the ground against the anti-constitutional actions being carried out by the Congress government.
