Peddapalli: The Congress government in Telangana has provided employment to more than one lakh youth in just two years, with another 15,000 to 20,000 jobs expected soon through skill development initiatives, stated by Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna.
He was addressing a mega job fair organised in Peddapalli on Wednesday as part of the 99-day Praja Palana – Pragati Pranalika initiative. IT Minister Sridhar Babu also participated in the programme.
MP Vamsi Krishna said the main goal of the Congress government is to provide employment to every unemployed youth. He urged the youth to work hard and make the best use of the opportunities being created. He highlighted that the state currently has 65 Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) imparting modern skills to the unemployed.

“Another 120 new ATCs are coming up across Telangana, which will generate 15,000 to 20,000 additional job opportunities in the coming days,” Vamsi stated. The MP stressed that skills aligned with current industry needs are essential for securing good jobs.
He requested the government to organise a similar job fair in Mancherial district as well. Minister Sridhar Babu said these job fairs are being conducted to encourage the youth. He noted that 4,000 job opportunities have already been provided through TASK, with 1,500 candidates from the shortlist securing placements so far.
