Hyderabad: Satish Kumar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Railway Board conducted a detailed inspection of ongoing redevelopment works at Secunderabad Railway Station today. He was accompanied by Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway; Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior Railway officials through the inspection.
Satish Kumar commenced the inspection on the South Side of Secunderabad station wherein he inspected the redeveloped façade and station entrance. He examined the works completed on the ground, first and second floors of the station and also inspected the new underground parking facility provided at the station.
The Chairman was briefed on the overall plans and progress of works by the officials. He instructed officials to expedite the works to ensure timely completion of the project. Satish Kumar directed the officials to ensure observance of safety guidelines at the construction sites. He also instructed to ensure that passenger inconvenience is minimized during redevelopment works involving major infrastructural changes.
Earlier in the day Satish Kumar conducted a detailed inspection of Medha Servo Drives Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, including its production and development facilities across multiple sites.
