Hyderabad : BJP State President N Ramchander Rao today said that amid the current international crises, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the only ray of hope for establishing peace worldwide and the entire world is looking toward him with hope. Rao attended as the chief guest at the prestigious ‘Glow Peace’ International Peace Conference held on the campus of Delhi Public School (DPS), Nacharam, which saw massive participation from thousands of students, parents, youth, teachers, and spiritual leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, he expressed deep concern over the current war-like atmosphere prevailing globally. He lamented that because several countries are continuously embroiled in wars, many innocent people and children are losing their lives, causing severe human, economic, and property losses. Recalling the past nuclear disasters of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, he warned that the current threat of nuclear war has become dangerous to the entire planet and human survival. He clarified that wars can never be a solution to problems and any issue can be resolved through peace dialogue alone. But, it is unfortunate that this thought of peace is lacking among the leaders ruling some countries, he expressed concern.
Rao praised the ‘Glow Peace’ conference as an excellent platform to plant the seeds of peace in young minds. He called for peace to begin not just between nations, but from the home, school, friends, and society. He urged students to practice peace from childhood and send a powerful message to the world. Rao emphasized that India has always stood for peace, believed in peace and hoped for peace across the world. He appreciated the management of Delhi Public School for organizing this program in Hyderabad, on Telangana soil, as part of ‘Jana Jagruthi’ (Public Awareness), and for delivering a great message to the world. On this occasion, he extended his special congratulations to the school management representatives and the teacher coordinator team responsible for executing such a magnificent event.

He revealed that a massive movement for global peace has been initiated through this conference. While nearly 20,000 students participated from DPS Nacharam alone, a total of one lakh postcards including contributions from other schools are being sent to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned that the students wrote these cards requesting the PM to make efforts for world peace and stand as a ‘Messenger of Peace’. Rao expressed hope that this small initiative started at the school level would send a big message to the world and evolve into a major nationwide and international peace movement in the future.
