Hyderabad : Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University organized a voter awareness program on “Educating Voters on Elections” under the auspices of Dr. B. Keshavulu Mudiraj, National Chairman, S.H.P.S, Election Watch Committee (India) at its campus on Friday.
As a part of Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. On this occasion, Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director Academic administered the “Voter Pledge” to the employees. A responsible voter pledged that he would not be influenced by any temptation under any circumstances and would freely exercise the right to vote as a constitutional right in a democratic manner, without discrimination of caste, region, religion, gender or language.
All the Directors, Deans, Heads of the branches, representatives of teaching and non-teaching employees participated in the program. Later, all the employees of the university mock a rally in the campus and raised slogans to create awareness among the people to protect democracy.

హైదరాబాద్ : “ఎన్నికలపై ఓటర్లను చైతన్య పర్చడం” అనే అంశంపై ఓటర్లకు అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాన్ని డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం, ఎలక్షన్ వాచ్ కమిటీ (ఇండియా) జాతీయ అధ్యక్షులు డా. బి. కేశవులు ముదిరాజ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించారు.
జూబ్లీ హిల్స్ అసెంబ్లీ ఉప ఎన్నిక నేపథ్యంలో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని శుక్రవారం విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ప్రాంగానంలో నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. జి. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి ఉద్యోగులతో “ఓటరు ప్రతిజ్ఞ” చేయించారు. బాధ్యత గల ఓటర్ ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లో ఎలాంటి ప్రలోభాలకు ప్రభావితం కారని, కుల, ప్రాంత, మత, లింగ, భాషా బేధం లేకుండా, ప్రజాస్వామ్య యుతంగా రాజ్యంగ హక్కుగా సిద్దించిన ఓటు హక్కును స్వేచ్చగా వినియోగించుకోవాలని ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేయించారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో అన్ని విభాగాల డైరెక్టర్లు, డీన్లు, బోధన మరియు బోధనేతర సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు, ఉద్యోగులు పాల్గొన్నారు. అనంతరం విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో ఉద్యోగులంతా ర్యాలీ నిర్వహించారు. ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని రక్షించేలా ప్రజల్లో అవగాహన కల్పిస్తామని నినాదాలు చేశారు.
