హైదరాబాద్ : దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే పరిధిలోని సికింద్రాబాద్ డివిజన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో 171వ డివిజనల్ రైల్వే వినియోగదారుల సంప్రదింపుల కమిటీ (డి.ఆర్.యూ.సి.సి) సమావేశం ఈరోజు సికింద్రాబాద్లోని సంచాలన్భవన్లో డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్ కాన్ఫరెన్స్ హాల్లో జరిగింది. ఈ సమావేశానికి డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్ డా.ఆర్. గోపాలకృష్ణన్ అధ్యక్షత వహించగా, కార్యదర్శి మరియు సీనియర్ డివిజనల్ కమర్షియల్ మేనేజర్ శ్రీమతి షిఫాలీ కుమార్ మరియు సికింద్రాబాద్ డివిజన్కు చెందిన ఇతర బ్రాంచ్ అధికారులు సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో, అమృత్ స్టేషన్లలో పురోగతిలో ఉన్న స్థితితో సహా సికింద్రాబాద్ డివిజన్లో సాధించిన విజయాలు మరియు చేపట్టిన వివిధ అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను చైర్మన్ వివరించారు. ఇది కాకుండా, డివిజన్లో పూర్తయిన ప్రయాణీకుల సౌకర్యాల పనులు మరియు కొనసాగుతున్న పనుల గురించి కూడా చైర్మన్ సభ్యులకు తెలియజేశారు. ఈరోజు సమావేశానికి ప్రయాణీకులు, వినియోగదారులు మరియు ఇతర సంఘాలకు ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తున్న కమిటీలోని 18 మంది సభ్యులలో, 12 మంది హాజరయ్యారు.
తరువాత సభ్యులు అనేక అంశాలను చర్చించారు. వీటిలో వివిధ రైళ్లకు స్టాపేజ్లు కల్పించడం, ప్రయాణికుల సౌకర్యార్ధం లిఫ్టులు, ఎస్కలేటర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయడం, రైళ్ల సమయపాలన, ప్రస్తుత ప్రారంభ మరియు గమ్యస్థానాలకంటే ఎక్కువ దూరం వరకు రైళ్లను నడపడం, రైళ్ల ఫ్రీక్వెన్సీ పెంచడం, సాధారణ ప్యాసింజర్ మరియు ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ రైళ్ల సేవలను పునరుద్ధరించడం, స్టేషన్లు మరియు రైళ్లలో పరిశుభ్రతను నిర్ధారించడం వంటి డిమాండ్లతో సహా అనేక అంశాలపై చర్చించారు. రైల్వే భాగస్వాములుగా, ప్రయాణీకుల సౌకర్యాల కల్పన మరియు రైళ్ల నిలుపుదల వంటి అంశాలపై నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోవడంలో సభ్యుల సూచనలకు ఎంతో విలువ ఉంటుందని సభ్యులకు తెలియజేయబడింది.
ఈ సమావేశం సందర్భంగా సభ్యులు మరియు డివిజన్కు చెందిన అధికారులు పరస్పరo చురుకుగా పాల్గొని, అనేక అంశాలను చర్చించారు. డివిజన్ చేపట్టిన వివిధ అభివృద్ధి కార్యకలాపాలపై సభ్యులు సంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. స్టేషన్లలో వివిధ పనులను పూర్తి చేయడానికి చేసిన కృషిని మరియు పురోగతిలో ఉన్న పనులను త్వరితగతిన పూర్తిచేయడానికి చేస్తున్న ప్రయత్నాలను ప్రశంసించారు.

Secunderabad Division Conducts 171st DRUCC Meeting
Hyderabad: 171st Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) Meeting of Secunderabad Division, South Central Railway held today Divisional Railway Manager’s Conference Hall, Sanchalan Bhavan, Secunderabad. The meeting was chaired by Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan, Divisional Railway Manager and Smt. Shifali Kumar Secretary & Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and other Branch Officers of Secunderabad Division present in the Meeting.
During the meeting, Chairman highlighted achievements and various development activities taken up over the Secunderabad Division including status of works at Amrit Stations. Apart from this, Chairman also briefed the Members about the completed Passenger Amenity works and on-going works in the Division. Out of 18 Members in the committee representing a cross section of Passengers, Customers and Other Associations, 12 members attended the meeting today.
Later the Members have discussed many issues including demand for Stoppage to different Trains, Provision of Passenger Amenities such as Lifts, Escalators, Punctuality of Trains, extended train runs beyond the existing originating and destination stations, increased frequencies, restoration of ordinary passenger and express train services and ensuring Cleanliness at Stations & on Trains. The members were informed that as partners of Railways their suggestions are of great value in deciding on provision of Passenger Amenities and Stoppages of the Trains etc.
During the meeting, Members and Officers of the Division actively participated in the interactive session and discussed various issues. The Members expressed their satisfaction over the developmental activities undertaken by the Division and appreciated the efforts made for getting various works done and also for the ongoing works at Stations.
