Hyderabad: Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy attended the Independence Day celebrations organised by the India Association of North Texas (IANT) in Dallas, Texas, and addressed members of the Indian-American community on the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day.

Addressing the gathering, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that India is no longer merely a land of ancient heritage, but has emerged as a global powerhouse of technology, economic resilience and innovation. “From driving digital transformation to pioneering space exploration, India is playing a defining role in shaping the 21st century,” he said. He highlighted the important role played by the Indian diaspora in strengthening India’s global presence and said that NRIs are among the country’s most effective brand ambassadors across the world.

“Through every festival you celebrate abroad, every cultural tradition you pass on to your children, and every venture you lead, you keep the spirit of India alive globally. Your success is India’s pride,” Shri Kiran Kumar Reddy said. He appreciated the contribution of the Indian-American community to the economic, technological and cultural growth of the United States while maintaining strong connections with India and its heritage.
