हैदराबाद : प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद्, राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरण परिषद की सलाहकार, तेलंगाना के हरित राजदूत, लायन डॉ. कोमाटिरेड्डी गोपाल रेड्डी की धर्मपत्नी और प्रसिद्ध शैक्षणिक संस्थान लोटस लैब पब्लिक स्कूल की निदेशक श्रीमती मंजुला रानी (58) का आकस्मिक निधन हो गया। डॉ. कोमाटीरेड्डी गोपाल रेड्डी हाल ही में एक पर्यावरण संरक्षण सम्मेलन में भाग लेने अमेरिका गए थे।
एक सरकारी जूनियर कॉलेज में शिक्षिका के रूप में कार्यरत मंजुला रानी चार दिन पहले कुछ समय के लिए बीमार पड़ गईं थी और उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। डॉ. कोमाटीरेड्डी गोपाल रेड्डी, जो ग्रीन मेंबर अवार्ड लेने अमेरिका गए थे, सोमवार रात अपने परिवार द्वारा सूचित किए जाने के बाद भारत पहुँच गए। डॉ. गोपाल रेड्डी की गोद में मंजुला रानी ने अंतिम सांस ली। उनकी अंतिम दृष्टि वापस आ गई थी। इसे देखकर सभी की आँखें नम हो गईं। हालाँकि, परिवार के सदस्यों की सहमति से मंजुला रानी के नेत्र दान कर दिए गए।
एक प्रख्यात बुद्धिजीवी के रूप में जानी जाने वाली मंजुला रानी ने अपनी नौकरी की जिम्मेदारियों को निभाते हुए लोटस लैप्स शैक्षणिक संस्थानों की बेहतरी के लिए कड़ी मेहनत की। मंजुला रानी की मौत की खबर से लोटस लैप्स शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के कर्मचारी और शिक्षा क्षेत्र शोक में डूब गया। वह कई गरीब छात्रों को मुफ्त शिक्षा प्रदान करने में सबसे आगे रहती थीं।
मंजुला रानी की मौत की खबर सुनकर तेलंगाना बुद्धिजीवी मंच और तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद के अध्यक्ष डॉ. राजनारायण मुदिराज, न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति वामन राव, तेलंगाना उच्च परिषद के अध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर बालकृष्ण रेड्डी, उपाध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर ई. पुरुषोत्तम, अमीर शांति फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष फारूक अली खान और शिक्षाविद् एस. मधुसूदन, सहकार स्वैच्छिक संगठन के अध्यक्ष बत्तुला हेमंत के अलावा श्रीमती एटा उदयश्री रेड्डी, जी. वेणुगोपाल, बी. सूर्या, विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक, युवा और छात्र संगठनों के नेता और प्रोफेसर विभिन्न शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के अधिकारियों ने मंजुला रानी की सेवाओं को याद किया और उनकी आत्मा की शांति के लिए भगवान से प्रार्थना की।

Manjula Rani breathed her last in the arms of Dr. Gopal Reddy, who had regained her last sight, made everyone even more tearful. However, with the consent of the family members, Manjula Rani’s eyes were donated to people.
Known as a prominent intellectual, Manjula Rani worked hard for the betterment of Lotus Laps Educational Institutions while performing her job responsibilities. The news of Manjula Rani’s death plunged the staff of Lotus Laps Educational Institutions and the education sector into grief. She was at the forefront of providing free education to many poor students.
Upon learning of the news of Manjula Rani’s death, the President of the Telangana Intellectuals Forum and the State Chairman of the Telangana Citizen Council, Dr. Raj Narayan Mudiraj, Judge Justice Vaman Rao, Chairman of the Telangana High Council, Professor Balakrishta Reddy, Vice Chairman Professor E. Purushottam, President of the Amir Peace Foundation, Farook Ali Khan, and educationist S. Madhusudhan, Sahakhar Voluntary Organization President Battula Hemanth, professors, officials of various educational institutions, along with Mrs. Etta Udayasri Reddy, G. Venugopal, B. Surya, leaders of various cultural, youth and student organizations prayed to God for the repose of Manjularani’s soul.
