హైదరాబాద్ : బిజెపి తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర కార్యాలయంలో ఈరోజు పార్టీ రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షులు న్. రాంచందర్ రావు అధ్యక్షతన బిజెపి రాష్ట్ర పదాధికారుల సమావేశం విజయవంతంగా జరిగింది. పార్టీ ఎంపీలు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు, రాష్ట్ర పదాధికారులు హాజరయ్యారు.

BJP Telangana State Office Bearers Meeting Focuses on Local Body Elections
Hyderabad: A preparatory meeting of state BJP office bearers was held to involve a strategy for local body election here today.
The meeting was held at state BJP office which was chaired by party president N Ramchander Rao . The meeting was attended by union minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy; BJP National Vice President, Smt. D. K. Aruna; BJP Legislature Party Leader, Yeleti Maheshwar Reddy; BJP Legislative Council Party Leader, A.V.N. Reddy; BJP Co-Incharge for Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, along with other party MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and state office bearers.
The discussions primarily revolved around the upcoming local body elections in Telangana. The major topics deliberated upon were:
Preparing for the upcoming local body elections (ZPTC, MPTC, Sarpanch) in the state, Strengthening the party further in rural areas.
Addressing public issues and conducting a campaign to inform the public about: The deterioration of Gram Panchayats under the previous BRS government.
The current Congress government’s negligence, failures, and its failure to implement the promises made to the public. In the meeting it was decided to inform Congress government failures by organising public meetings and educate public about the Congress government’s ‘conspiracies and dramas’ over the last 22 months regarding providing reservations for Backward Classes (BCs), and the subsequent paralysis of rural governance by not conducting local elections in time.
The main aim of the meeting is to motivate party cadre to work hard for victory of the party. It was decided to appoint former Parliamentarians, Assembly, and Legislative Council members, District Presidents, and State Office Bearers as ZPTC In-charges and District In-charges. Focus was also placed on organizational election preparedness for the next Assembly elections, with the aim of bringing the BJP to power in the state.
Special strategies were devised to win a majority of the ZPTC seats for the BJP.
A broader-level meeting will be held on October 8th with the in-charges, former MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and senior leaders to fully prepare for the elections. MPs and MLAs provided suggestions regarding candidate selection and committee formation at the constituency level.District In-charges were also tasked with forming committees and advancing activities like candidate selection and campaigning.
The party’s State President will announce the committees.
Additionally, a special agenda was formulated in view of the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election (within the Hyderabad-Secunderabad Parliament constituency), with a decision for city leaders to be fully involved. A special committee will be formed for the Jubilee Hills by-election for candidate selection, opinion gathering, and announcement.
