Hyderabad: Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao garu participated in the 12th International Yoga Day celebrations held at Indira Park, Hyderabad today.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramchander Rao said that the entire world is celebrating International Yoga Day today with great enthusiasm. He stated that Yoga is Bharat’s timeless civilisational gift to the world and that Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi deserves full credit for taking Yoga to the global stage and transforming it into a worldwide movement.
He said that Yoga is not just a physical exercise, but a complete way of life that strengthens both mental health and physical well-being. In today’s fast-paced world, where people are increasingly facing stress, depression and lifestyle-related health issues, Yoga offers a natural and powerful solution, he said.

Ramchander Rao observed that people often depend on tablets and medicines for every health concern, but regular practice of Yoga can help individuals lead a healthier, calmer and more balanced life. He said Yoga helps in improving mental strength and overall wellness. He urged students and youth in particular to adopt Yoga as a daily practice. He said that it is heartening to see many schools also encouraging Yoga among students, as it helps children develop a healthy lifestyle from a young age.
Ramchander Rao congratulated the organisers Bharat Goud (District President) and the entire team for successfully conducting the Yoga Day programme at Indira Park despite rain playing spoilsport and called upon people to make Yoga a regular part of their everyday lives. “Yoga is the path to a healthy body, peaceful mind and strong society. Every citizen, especially the youth, should practise Yoga ”, he said.
