Hyderabad : Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University today hoisted the tri-colour National Flag on the occasion Telangana State Formation Day Celebrations at the campus. Prof. Chakrapani extended State Formation Day greetings to the Staff and congratulated the university officials.
Prof. Chakrapani remembered the sacrifices of the martyrs who participated in the formation of Telangana. The University moving forward with the aim of providing equal opportunities to all sections of the society and that this university is already fulfilling its social responsibility by providing free education to the tribals children belonging to the backward tribes of Gond, Koya, Chenchu and other communities in the state, under Equal Opportunity Plan. The University will enter into Memorandums of Understanding with State Government to conduct AI training programs for Government teachers. He revealed that the DRC building construction work will be completed soon under PM RUSA funds.
