వికారాబాద్ : పరిగి ఇండస్ట్రియల్ కారిడార్ పేరుతో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం అమాయక రైతుల భూములు లాక్కునేందుకు కుట్రలు చేస్తోందని బలవంతపు భూసేకరణ ఆపేవరకు ఉద్యమం కొనసాగిస్తామని తెలంగాణ జాగృతి అధ్యక్షురాలు కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత స్పష్టం చేశారు. పరిగి మండలం కళ్లాపూర్, రాపోల్, భట్ల చందారం గ్రామాల్లో భూసేకరణకు నిరసనగా ధర్మసమాజ్ పార్టీ అధ్యక్షుడు విశారదన్ మహారాజ్, బాధిత రైతులతో కలిసి బుధవారం వికారాబాద్ ఆర్డీవో ఆఫీస్ ఎదుట ధర్నా చేశారు. నాలుగు గంటలకు పైగా నడిఎండలో బైఠాయించి ఆందోళన చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా కవిత మాట్లాడుతూ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం చిన్న, సన్నకారు రైతుల భూములు తీసుకుంటూ వారి నోటి కాడి బుక్క లాక్కుంటోందని మండిపడ్డారు. రైతుల భూములు లాక్కుంటూ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం చేస్తున్న పాపానికి ఆ పార్టీని కాల్చి బూడిద చేసినా పాపం లేదన్నారు. కళ్లాపూర్, రాపోల్, భట్ల చందారం సహా పలు గ్రామాల్లో రైతుల మొత్తం భూములను తీసుకొని వారికి దిక్కులేని పరిస్థితి తీసుకొస్తున్నారని మండిపడ్డారు. ఇక్కడి రైతుల బాధ రాష్ట్రం మొత్తానికి తెలియాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతోనే వికారాబాద్ లో ఆందోళన చేపట్టామన్నారు. పరిశ్రమల పేరుతో ప్రభుత్వం సేకరించనున్న 1250 ఎకరాల్లో వెయ్యి ఎకరాలు అసైన్డ్ భూములేనని, మిగతా 250 ఎకరాల భూమి కూడా ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, బీసీ రైతులవేనని చెప్పారు.
ఏళ్ల క్రితం ఇచ్చిన భూములను లాక్కోవటమంటే వారి పొట్ట కొట్టటమేనని విమర్శించారు. ఈ కాంగ్రెస్ మూడేళ్ల పాలనలో రైతులు ఎక్కడ కూడా సంతోషంగా లేరని చెప్పారు. రైతు భరోసా, రైతు రుణమాఫీ, యూరియా, మద్దతు ధర ఇలా ఏదో ఒక సమస్యతో రైతులంతా బాధపడుతున్నారని చెప్పారు. ఒక వైపు మూసీ బాగు చేస్తానని చెబుతున్న ముఖ్యమంత్రి…మరో వైపు మూసీ నెత్తిన పరిశ్రమలు తెచ్చిపెడతానని అంటున్నాడని విమర్శించారు. పరిశ్రమల కాలుష్యాన్ని మళ్లీ మూసీలోకి తరలిస్తారా? అని ప్రశ్నించారు.
పెనంపై నుంచి పొయ్యిలో పడినట్లైంది
రాష్ట్రంలో రైతుల పరిస్థితి పెనంపై నుంచి పొయ్యిలో పడినట్లైందని కవిత ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ రైతుల పట్ల ఎలా వ్యవహరించిందో అంతకన్నా దారుణంగా కాంగ్రెస్ వ్యవహరిస్తుందన్నారు. పెద్ద రైతుల జోలికి పోకుండా ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, బీసీ రైతులనే ఈ ప్రభుత్వం టార్గెట్ చేసిందన్నారు. భూములు ఇచ్చేందుకు రైతులు సిద్ధంగా లేకపోయినప్పటికీ బలవంతంగా వారి నుంచి భూములు లాక్కునే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారన్నారు. ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లో రైతులకు అన్యాయం జరగనివ్వమన్నారు. ఎక్కడ రైతులకు అన్యాయం జరిగితే అక్కడ జాగృతి, ధర్మ సమాజ్ పార్టీ ఉంటుందన్నారు. మరో పది రోజుల్లో తెలంగాణకు ప్రాంతీయ పార్టీ రాబోతుందని…పార్టీ ఏర్పాటు తర్వాత కూడా మరిన్ని ప్రజా ఉద్యమాలు చేస్తామని చెప్పారు.
స్పష్టమైన హామీ ఇవ్వని కలెక్టర్
పరిగి ఇండస్ట్రియల్ కారిడార్ కోసం భూములు కోల్పోతున్న రైతుల సమస్యపై కలెక్టర్ తో కవిత మాట్లాడారు. ఆందోళన విరమించాలని నచ్చచెప్పేందుకు కలెక్టర్ స్వయంగా కవితకు ఫోన్ చేశారు. ఐతే బాధిత రైతుల సమస్యలను కలెక్టర్ స్వయంగా వినాలని ఆమె కోరారు. రైతులు భూములు ఇచ్చేందుకు సిద్ధంగా లేరని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకోవాలనుకుంటున్న భూములన్నీ కూడా ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, బీసీ రైతులవేనని గుర్తు చేశారు. వారందరి దగ్గరకు కలెక్టర్ వెళ్లి వారి అభ్యంతరాలను పరిగణలోకి తీసుకుంటేనే ఆందోళన విరమిస్తామని చెప్పారు. దీనిపై ఆర్డీవో తో మాట్లాడుతానంటూ కలెక్టర్ స్పష్టమైన హామీ ఇవ్వలేదు. దీంతో కవిత, విశారదన్ ఆందోళన కొనసాగించారు.
పోలీసుల ఓవరాక్షన్
రైతుల భూముల విషయంలో ఆందోళనకు దిగిన కవిత, విశారదన్ పట్ల పోలీసులు ఓవరాక్షన్ చేశారు. వారిని బలవంతంగా ఆరెస్ట్ చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. ఈ క్రమంలో తోపులాట జరిగింది. పోలీసుల తీరుపై కవిత, విశారదన్ తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. పోలీసులు, ప్రభుత్వానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా నినాదాలు చేశారు. అనంతరం కవిత, విశారదన్ ను అరెస్ట్ చేసి బంటారం స్టేషన్ కు తరలించారు. అటు రైతుల ఆందోళనలో జర్నలిస్టుల, రైతుల పట్ల పోలీసులు దురుసుగా ప్రవర్తించారు. కెమెరాలు లాక్కొని జర్నలిస్టులను నెట్టేశారు.
తెలంగాణకు అన్యాయం చేసే కుట్ర
జనాభా ప్రాతిపాదికన నియోజకవర్గాల పునర్విభజన సాకుతో తెలంగాణకు కేంద్రంలోని బీజేపీ ప్రభుత్వం అన్యాయం చేసే కుట్ర చేస్తోందని జాగృతి అధ్యక్షురాలు కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత ఆరోపించారు. తెలంగాణ ప్రజల గొంతు అణిచివేయాలని చూస్తే ఎట్టిపరిస్థితుల్లో సహించేది లేదని హెచ్చరించారు. ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధి, కుటుంబ నియంత్రణను పాటించి దేశానికి దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలు ఆదర్శంగా నిలిచాయని కవిత అన్నారు. అలాంటి రాష్ట్రాలను మరింత ప్రోత్సహించాల్సింది పోయి రాజకీయ ప్రాధాన్యత తగ్గించే కుట్ర చేస్తారా అని మండిపడ్డారు. పార్లమెంట్ లో తెలంగాణ తో పాటు దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాల ప్రాతినిధ్యాన్ని కాపాడుకుంటామని తేల్చిచెప్పారు. ప్రస్తుతం పార్లమెంట్ లో తెలంగాణకు ఉన్న 3.13 శాతం ప్రాతినిధ్యమే చాలా తక్కువని చెప్పారు. ఈ శాతాన్ని పెంచాల్సింది పోయి… ఇష్టానుసారంగా పరిమితులు విధించటం సరికాదన్నారు.
జనాభా ప్రాతిపదికన అంటూ జరుగుతున్న అన్యాయాన్ని ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లో సహించేది లేదని హెచ్చరించారు. కేంద్రంలోని బీజేపీ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని బలహీన పరచాలని చూస్తే అది తీవ్ర పరిణామాలకు దారి తీస్తుందన్నారు. తెలంగాణ రాజకీయ సార్వభౌమధికారాన్ని రక్షించుకునేందుకు అవసరమైతే మరో ఉద్యమం తప్పదని హెచ్చరించారు.

Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Kavitha, President of Telangana Jagruti, along with Dharma Samaj Party President Visharadhan, led a massive protest in Vikarabad in front of the RDO office. The protest was organized against the Congress government’s move to acquire land from small and marginal farmers for the proposed Parigi Industrial Corridor.
Kavitha said that the injustice being done by the Congress party to farmers is so grave that it cannot be undone, even if the party is reduced to ashes. She strongly criticized the Congress government, alleging that under the guise of industrial development, it is depriving vulnerable farmers of their livelihoods. She described the party’s actions as unjust and warned that such policies would eventually lead to public rejection.
She further alleged that in villages such as Kallapur, Rapole, and Bhatla Chandaram, agricultural lands are being acquired extensively, leaving farmers in distress. According to her, the protest aimed to bring the farmers’ plight to the attention of the entire state.
Highlighting the scale of land acquisition, Kavitha stated that out of the proposed 1,250 acres, nearly 1,000 acres are assigned lands, while the remaining 250 acres belong to farmers from SC, ST, and BC communities. She accused the government of targeting marginalized farmers while sparing large landowners.
Criticizing the Congress party’s three-year governance, she said farmers continue to struggle with unresolved issues such as Rythu Bharosa, loan waivers, urea shortages, and lack of Minimum Support Price (MSP). She also questioned the government’s stance on environmental concerns, pointing out the contradiction between plans to clean the Musi River and proposals to establish polluting industries nearby.
”From the Frying Pan into the Fire”
Kavitha expressed deep concern over the deteriorating condition of farmers in the state, stating that the situation has worsened significantly. She alleged that the Congress government’s performance has been even more detrimental than that of the previous BRS administration.
According to her, instead of addressing issues involving large landholders, the government is disproportionately targeting SC, ST, and BC farmers. She further stated that despite farmers’ clear unwillingness to part with their lands, efforts are being made to acquire them forcibly.
Reaffirming her stance, Kavitha asserted that injustice against farmers would not be tolerated under any circumstances. She emphasized that Telangana Jagruti and the Dharma Samaj Party would stand firmly with farmers wherever such issues arise.
She also announced that a new regional political party would be launched in Telangana within the next ten days, with plans to intensify public movements following its formation.
No clear assurance from the collector
Kavitha raised serious concerns with the District Collector regarding the plight of farmers affected by land acquisition for the Parigi Industrial Corridor. Although the Collector personally called her requesting that the protest be withdrawn, she refused, insisting that the administration must directly engage with the affected farmers.
She reiterated that most of the lands targeted belong to SC, ST, and BC farmers, who are unwilling to surrender them. Kavitha criticized the administration for ignoring their concerns and proceeding without proper consultation.
She made it clear that the protest would continue unless the Collector personally visited the villages, interacted with farmers, and addressed their grievances transparently. However, the Collector did not provide a concrete assurance, merely stating that he would “speak to the RDO,” which Kavitha described as inadequate.
As a result, Kavitha and Visharadhan continued and intensified the protest, reflecting growing distrust in the government’s handling of the issue.
Police Overreaction
Tensions escalated during the protest as police allegedly resorted to high-handed measures, attempting to forcibly detain Kavitha and Visharadhan. This led to a scuffle at the protest site.
Both leaders condemned the police action and raised slogans against the government. Reports also indicated that journalists and protesting farmers were treated roughly, with cameras being seized and media personnel pushed aside.
Allegations against the Central Government
Kavitha also issued a strong warning to the BJP-led Central Government over the proposed delimitation of Lok Sabha constituencies. She alleged that using population as the sole criterion for representation is a deliberate attempt to weaken southern states.
She argued that states like Telangana, which have demonstrated progress in population control and economic development, should not be penalized by reduced political representation.
Kavitha pointed out that Telangana’s current representation in Parliament, at 3.13%, is already limited and should be increased rather than curtailed. She cautioned that such measures could undermine democratic principles and lead to serious consequences.
