Hyderabad: Mr Yadagiri Kambhampati, Assistant Professor & I/c Head of Journalism and Mass Communication, Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Open University, received Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Journalism and Mass Communication from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He worked on the topic “Promotional Strategies in Telugu Film Industry: A Case Study”, under the supervision of Prof. K. Nageshwar, Ex-MLC and Retired Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication, Osmania University.
Dr Yadagiri, who hails from Nerada Village, Chityal Mandal, Nalgonda District, played an active role in bringing quality to the courses offered to journalism, mass communication and public relations of Dr BRAOU. Dr. Yadagiri is serving Public Relations Society of India (PRSI)’s Hyderabad Chapter as the secretary for a second time (2024-2026). He is involved in the work of the Public Relations Voice journal as Editorial Assistant from the year 2011 and now presently holding Honorary Correspondent post and also contributed articles to this prestigious journal.
