Chennai: NLC India Limited’s Regional Office, Chennai has celebrated the 75th Republic Day with full patriotic fervour and zeal on January 26, 2024 at Kilpauk, Chennai.
To commemorate the day, the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950, Shri. Prabhu Kishore K, Executive Director/Chief Regional Manager (CRM) of NLCIL unfurled the National Flag. The Flag unfurling was followed by a rendition of the National Anthem. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Prabhu Kishore extended his greetings to all the employees and paid tributes to the makers of the Constitution.
All employees also paid homage to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, by garlanding his portrait. On this occasion, the message of Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), NLC India Limited was also read by Shri Udhaya Shankar, Company Secretary. Around 80 senior officers, employees including contract workers along with their family members were also present on the occasion.
