Hyderabad: Telangana BJP State President N Ramchander Rao today alleged that Congress government must take full responsibility for a stay by the High Court which has issued an interim orders on GO Number 9 regarding the 42 per cent reservation for BCs (Backward Classes) in local body elections.
Speaking to the media at the state party office here , he said that the negligence of the Congress government, which acted without sincerity, was the reason for stay of local body elections. He demanded the Congress government immediately approach Supreme Court to ensure justice for BCs and rectify the legal loopholes.
Rao criticized the government for releasing the election notification before the completion of the three-month period for the Governor to take a decision on the bill passed by the Assembly on August 31. He said that releasing the election notification in a hurry, before the deadline, is illegal, even though the country’s apex court clearly stated that a decision on bills sent to the Governor must be taken within three months.
He alleged that the Congress government is acting purely for political gain on the issue of BC reservations and damaging the interests of BC communities.
He criticized the government for spreading the misinformation to cover up its own mistake by leveling allegations that “the BJP is obstructing” the reservations. Refuting charges the state BJP chief said our party is committed for 42 per cent reservations to BCs and the party is fighting in the apex court for 57 per cent reservations in Madhya Pradesh which shows that the BJP supports reservations.
Explaining about legal complications Rao said the Congress party lack legal understanding, clarity and sincerity on the reservations and incorrect decisions such as bringing in bill, declarations, mendments of ordinance and issuing notification were not legally tenable.
He alleged that those who filed petitions in the High Court opposing the 42 per cent reservation for BCs in local body elections belongsto the Congress party.

ఆగస్టు 31న అసెంబ్లీ ఆమోదించిన బిల్లును గవర్నర్కు పంపినప్పటికీ, గవర్నర్ నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవడానికి ఉన్న మూడు నెలల గడువు ముగియకముందే ప్రభుత్వం ఎన్నికల నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల చేసిందని విమర్శించారు. దేశ అత్యున్నత న్యాయస్థానం గవర్నర్కు పంపిన బిల్లులపై మూడు నెలల్లో నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని స్పష్టంగా పేర్కొన్నప్పటికీ, ఆ గడువు పూర్తికాకముందే ప్రభుత్వం తొందరపడి ఎన్నికల నోటిఫికేషన్ జారీ చేయడం చట్టవిరుద్ధమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల విషయంలో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తిగా రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాల కోసమే వ్యవహరిస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు. ఇప్పటికైనా ప్రభుత్వం సుప్రీంకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించి చట్టపరమైన లొసుగులను సరిదిద్దుకోవాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. ప్రతీ అంశాన్ని రాజకీయ కోణంలో మాత్రమే చూసి, కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం బీసీ వర్గాల ప్రయోజనాలను తీవ్రంగా దెబ్బతీస్తోందని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు తెలిపారు. తమ తప్పులను కప్పిపుచ్చుకునేందుకు “బిజెపి అడ్డుకుంటోంది” అనే దుష్ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారని, కానీ ఈ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి చట్టపరమైన అవగాహన లేదా ఆలోచనల స్పష్టత (Application of Mind) లేదని విమర్శించారు.
భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లకు పూర్తిగా మద్దతు ఇస్తూ దానికి కట్టుబడి ఉందని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు స్పష్టం చేశారు. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం వెంటనే సుప్రీంకోర్టుకు వెళ్లి బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్లపై చట్టపరమైన సవరణలు చేయాలని ఆయన డిమాండ్ చేశారు. బిల్లులు తెచ్చి, డిక్లరేషన్లు, ఆర్డినెన్స్ సవరణలు.. ఇలా న్యాయపరంగా చెల్లుబాటు కాని విధానాలతో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం చిత్తశుద్ధి లేని, చట్టపరంగా తప్పుడు నిర్ణయాలతో బీసీల హక్కులను రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం వాడుకుందని మండిపడ్డారు. హైకోర్టులో వచ్చిన ఈ ఫలితానికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వమే పూర్తిగా బాధ్యత వహించాలన్నారు.

మధ్యప్రదేశ్లో 57 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ల కోసం బిజెపి ప్రభుత్వం సుప్రీంకోర్టులో పోరాడుతోందని, కాబట్టి బిజెపి రిజర్వేషన్లకు మద్దతుగా నిలుస్తోందని వివరించారు. కానీ తెలంగాణలో కాంగ్రెస్ సర్కారు కేవలం ఓట్ల కోసం, రాజకీయ స్వలాభం కోసం బీసీలకు అన్యాయం చేస్తోందని రాంచందర్ రావు గారు తీవ్రంగా విమర్శించారు. స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు ఇవ్వాలనే చిత్తశుద్ధి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వానికి అసలే లేదన్నారు. కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి బీసీల పట్ల, వారి సాధికారత పట్ల నిజమైన చిత్తశుద్ధి లేదని అన్నారు.

Hyderabad: Telangana state BJP President N Ramchander Rao today said everyone must work hard for success and there were no shortcuts for it.
He was speaking at” Seva Pakhwada” programme as chief guest which was organised by BJP MLC and Seva Pakhwada convenor Malka Komaraiah at Delhi Pulic School Nachram. The program was aimed at fostering a spirit of service among the public by recognizing individuals who are constantly serving the community. Stating that success was only possible through perseverance even if you face failures, Rao said political leaders should work not just for politics, but also with a focus on service.
Calling to encourage students from school level itself in the sports, he said there was a time when despite a population of 100 crores India struggled to win a single medal in the Olympics. But now there was a growing interest in sport among children. Sports serve as an alternative path to overcome bad habits and it was crucial for the goal of a Drug-free Nation”, he said. The state BJP chief also emphasized to encourage spirit of nationalism among the youth and called youth women and every citizen to come forward to protest the country.
Citing example of Israel, Rao said every individual aged at 18 in the Israel were required to complete three years of military service as a prerequisite for getting admission in the university. Despite facing of many challenges and wars, Israel has emerged as a strong “Survival Country “, he said and added that “Though it is the youngest and one of the smallest nations, today it is one of the strongest nations in the world because of nationalism”. He stressed that the country developed not because of communism, socialism and capitalism. But only because of nationalism,
Rao called upon the youth, women and every individual to come forward for the security and development of the nation. The state BJP supremo said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working relentlessly for the country with the goal of making India a “ Viksit Bharat” ‘ (Developed India). He urged everyone to be inspired by this spirit and become stakeholders in the nation’s development. Rao also sincerely wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi be blessed with a long life and the immense strength to lead the country further on the path of development.
