Hyderabad :Telangana BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao extended heartfelt Vinayaka Chavithi greetings to the people of Telangana on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Participating in the special Vinayaka Puja at State BJP Office in Nampally, Ramchander Rao prayed to Lord Ganesha for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Telangana.
“I pray to Lord Vinayaka that our State prospers, our farmers remain happy and prosperous, and every family in Telangana is blessed with happiness, health and well-being,” he said. Ramchander Rao said that devotion towards Lord Ganesha continues to grow every year, with people participating in Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations in large numbers. Hyderabad, in particular, has a glorious tradition of celebrating Ganesh festivities and conducting Ganesh immersion processions on a grand scale with immense devotion and enthusiasm.
He said thousands of Ganesh mandals organise celebrations across Hyderabad and the rest of Telangana and stressed that the State Government, police, municipal authorities and all concerned departments must extend full cooperation to the mandals and devotees to ensure that the festivities and immersion processions are conducted peacefully and smoothly. Highlighting the close relationship between Ganesh Chaturthi and nature, Shri Ramchander Rao said many of the traditional rituals and offerings associated with Vinayaka Puja are deeply connected with the environment.
“Leaves, flowers, fruits, turmeric and several other natural materials offered during Ganesh Puja remind us of our deep connection with nature. Along with devotion to Lord Ganesha, protecting our environment must also become our collective Sankalp,” he said. Ramchander Rao appealed to devotees to celebrate Vinayaka Chavithi with devotion while also remaining conscious of environmental protection.

He further prayed to Lord Ganesha to bless the Telangana Government with ‘Sadbuddhi’ — wisdom and good sense — so that it governs in the interests of the people and works sincerely for their welfare.He once again wished the people of Telangana a joyful, peaceful and prosperous Vinayaka Chavithi.
