Hyderabad : Minister for Irrigation and Civil Supplies, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, urged Congress workers to campaign vigorously and maintain the party’s winning streak in the upcoming urban local body polls. He emphasized the party’s strong support base and outstanding electoral performance, calling for efforts to hoist the Congress flag in every municipality.
Addressing a key meeting of senior Congress leaders from the Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency held at Gandhi Bhavan, he urged party cadres to replicate the resounding success achieved in the recent gram panchayat elections and ensure a similar victory wave in the urban local body polls.
The meeting was chaired by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud as Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, who serves as the in-charge for Nizamabad Lok Sabha segment for the municipal elections, called for effective involvement of every worker to ensure an overwhelming victory for the party yet again.
He emphasized that municipal polls are not a casual affair and should be treated with utmost seriousness and prestige by every Congress worker. Only through dedicated and coordinated efforts can the party achieve desired outcomes, he added. The minister instructed all leaders to work in unison and ensure the Congress victory bell rings loudly across all municipalities not only in Nizamabad but across Telangana.
Among those present were government advisor Shabbir Ali, MLA Sudarshan Reddy, former ministers Jeevan Reddy, Mandava Venkateshwar Rao, and other prominent leaders.

బుధవారం సాయంత్రం గాంధీ భవన్ లో జరిగిన నిజామాబాద్ లోక్ సభ పరిధిలోని కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకుల సమావేశంలో ఆయన పార్లమెంట్ ఇంచార్జ్ మంత్రిగా పాల్గొని దిశా నిర్దేశం చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ ఎన్నికకు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అద్భుతమైన ఫలితాలు సాధిస్తుందని ఇదే స్ఫూర్తి పురపాలక సంఘం ఎన్నికల్లోనూ కొనసాగించేలా ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించుకోవాలని ఆయన సూచించారు.
అదే సమయంలో పురపాలక సంఘం ఎన్నికలు అంటే ఆషామాషీ వ్యవహారం కాదని, ప్రతి కాంగ్రెస్ కార్యకర్త ఎన్నికలను ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా తీసుకుని పని చేపినప్పుడే మెరుగైన ఫలితాలకు ఆస్కారం ఉంటుందన్న అంశాన్ని ఏ ఒక్కరు విస్మరించకూడదని ఆయన ఉద్బోధించారు.
నేతలందరూ సమన్వయంతో పని చేసి పార్లమెంట్ పరిధిలోని పురపాలక సంఘాలలో విజయడంకా మ్రోగించాలని మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి కాంగ్రెస్ నాయకులకు సూచించారు.
