Hyderabad: Telangana state BJP President N Ramchander Rao today assured people that BJP would provide a corruption-free government and fulfil their aspiration after coming to power.
Rao urged people to give a chance to BJP to provide a corruption-free government as you have experienced functioning of a previous corrupt BRS government and present inefficient Congress government which has failed to fulfil its promises made to people before elections.
Addressing a meeting of polling booth presidents, secretaries and district party workers in karimnagar , the state BJP chief asserted that his party is committed for service and welfare of the people where as opposition BRS and Congress parties were indulged in corruption and misleading the people.
Expressing happiness on the participation of large number of party cadres in the meeting, Rao said it is a clear indication that BJP is growing and expressed hope that BJP would win all MPTC, ZPTC seats and ward members in local body elections.
He alleged that the Congress government is not able to conduct local body elections in fear of losing elections as people have realised their mistakes and now looking towards BJP for a change. It was unfortunate that Revanth Reddy government has urged the court to give two months more time to conduct local body elections.
The state party chief lauded the services and contribution of party senior leader and union minister Bandi Sanjay in the development of karimnagar district. He said a law department in Satahavana university was closed for various reasons. But , Rao said the law department was re-opened with immediate efforts of Bandi Sanjay which will provide opportunity to district youth to study law.
“We have achieved a new state for Telangana region for our self-respect and benefits of people”, he said and alleged that only one family of former chief minister KCR got benefitted who looted government treasure. Corruption of BRS party has been exposed by its own party MLC K Kavitha, he said. Rao accused BRS and Congress parties of misleading people. While BRS leaders involved in corruption, Congress party utterly failed to keep its promises of its six guarantees and 420 promises.

Taking a dig on CM Revanth Reddy’s frequent visits to Delhi, he alleged that Revanth Reddy is shuttling between Hyderabad and Delhi instead of looking after administration works in the state. The BJP state president called upon party workers to go to every village and tell them about Modi government’s development and welfare schemes and expose inefficient state Congress government functioning and about corrupt BRS party.
Addressing the meeting Union Minister of state for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay assured that “ we will give a gift to party president Ramchander Rao with winning of all MPTC, ZPTC and ward member seats”. Sanjay expressed confidence that BJP would definitely hoist flag on Golconda fort after next assembly elections and assured party cadres that he will take responsibility to help party candidates to win next elections.
Emphasising to accelerate development works in Karimnagar district, he urged people to support and vote for BJP candidates. Sanjay announced that he will contribute Rs five lakh if party win a MPTC seat and Rs 10 lakh for ZPTC seat for development to each village. The union minister further stated that he will distribute cycle to each boy and girl students of ninth class on September 17, birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier, BJP MlCs Anji Reddy and M Komaraiah addressed the meeting which was attended by party vice president G Manohar Reddy, official spokesperson and Media in-charge N V Subhash, district party president Krishna Reddy and other district leaders. Ramchander Rao was given a grand welcome by district leaders at Gundlapalli Toll gate on way to Karimnagar.
The state BJP chief along with union minister of state for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay garlanded the statue of Dr Ambedkar on reaching Karimnagar amid slogans of “BJP zindabad, Jai Bhim and Bharat Mata ki Jai”. District party workers welcomed party chief Rao and union minister Bandi Sanjay with a huge garland before reaching to KSL Garden, venue of district party workers meeting.
