हैदराबाद : तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद राज्य इकाई ने इस वर्ष राष्ट्रीय चिकित्सक दिवस के अवसर पर हिमायत सागर स्थित इंजीनियरिंग अनुसंधान प्रयोगशालाओं में वरिष्ठ चिकित्सा अधिकारी के पद पर कार्यरत प्रख्यात चिकित्सक डॉ डी शैलजा को वैद्य रत्न पुरस्कार-2025 के लिए चुना है। यह जानकारी आज तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद राज्य इकाई के अध्यक्ष डॉ. राज नारायण मुदिराज ने एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में दी।
डॉ मुदिराज ने आगे बताया कि यह पुरस्कार 1 जुलाई को भारत रत्न डॉ. बी. सी. रॉय की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में राष्ट्रीय चिकित्सक दिवस पर दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में निःशुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर, स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं पर कई भाषण प्रतियोगिता शिविर और सरकारी स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में विभिन्न बीमारियों के समाधान पर शिविर आयोजित किए जाएंगे।
सरकारी स्कूलों में टीबी, एड्स, एचआईवी, कुष्ठ रोग, पोलियो और मौसमी बीमारियों के बारे में स्वच्छता और सफाई के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए तेलंगाना नागरिक परिषद राज्य इकाई को कई प्रशंसाएँ मिली हैं। उन्होंने एरिया अस्पताल ताडूर में दो साल तक दूरदराज के गांवों में ग्रामीण लोगों के लिए स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं पर कई शिविर आयोजित किए हैं और सभी से काफी प्रशंसा प्राप्त की है। पिछले 25 वर्षों से मेदक, मेडचल और रंगारेड्डी जिलों के अस्पतालों में आने वाले रोगियों को अथक रूप से शिक्षित और उपचार कर रहे हैं और उच्च अधिकारियों से कई सुझाव प्राप्त किए हैं।
लॉकडाउन के दौरान भी सरकारी अस्पतालों में कई रोगियों को उपचार प्रदान किया है। मुख्य रूप से राजेंद्रनगर के हिमायत सागर में इंजीनियरिंग अनुसंधान प्रयोगशालाओं में गैर-संचारी रोगों और स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं पर अपनी सेवाएं दी हैं। कई बार रक्तदान किया है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर, डॉ शैलजा को जिला चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी द्वारा सम्मानित भी किया और उनसे अनेक संदेह का निवारण किए गए। हाल ही में केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रहलाद जोशी ने मेडचल निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के अपने दौरे के दौरान डॉ शैलजा के काम की सराहना की है।

Hyderabad: Eminent doctor Dr D Shailaja, who is serving as a Senior Medical Officer at the Telangana State Engineering Research Laboratories in Himayat Sagar, Rajendra nagar has been selected for the Vaidya Ratna Award-2025 on the occasion of National Doctors Day this year, said Dr. Raj Narayan Mudiraj, President of the Telangana Citizens Council State Unit in a press release today. He said that the Award is being presented on National Doctors Day to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B. C. Roy on July 1.
She has organized free Medical Camps in rural areas, many awareness camps on health problems, and many camps on prevent to various diseases in Government Schools and Colleges. She has received many appreciated for creating awareness about hygiene and cleanliness in government schools on tuberculosis, AIDS, HIV, leprosy, polio and seasonal diseases.
She has organized many camps on health problems for the rural people in remote villages for two years in the Area Hospital Tandoor and has received many Compliments from everyone. For the last 25 years, she has been tirelessly educating and treating patients coming to hospitals in Medak, Medchal and Ranga Reddy districts and has received many appreciated from higher medical authorities.
She has provided treatment to many patients in Government Hospitals even during the compassionate lockdown. He has served on non-communicable diseases and health problems in the Engineering Research Labs in Himayat Sagar,Rajendranagar, Government of TS. She has donated blood many times. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Dr. Sailaja was also honored and felicitated by the District Medical and Health Officer.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, during his visit to Medchal constituency, appreciated the work of Dr. Shailaja. She works as a Medical Officer at the Government Engineering Research Labs in Rajendranagar and conducts awareness programs on non-communicable diseases for the staff there till today.
