Hyderabad : Little Flower Degree College, Uppal renewed it’s Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hyderabad Chapter of the Public Relations Society of India on February 16, 2026. The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry through the establishment of a “Nalanda PRSI–LFDC Student Forum” at the college.
The agreement will introduce a series of student-centric programs over the next two academic years (2026–27 and 2027–28), providing students with opportunities to gain practical exposure, industry insights and skill-building platforms.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Yadagiri Kambhampati, Chairman of PRSI Hyderabad Chapter, the senior functionary of PRSI, Sri Krishna Baji, Convener; and Dr. Fatima Raheem, Co-Convener of PRSI’s Nalanda Initiative; Mr. K. Govindraj Past Chairman and committee member of Nalanda Student Forum Sub Committee of the Hyderabad Chapter.
Mrs P. Jayanthi Reddy, Principal of Little Flower Degree College expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “Our motto is ‘Connecting Academics with Industry,’ and this partnership with PRSI takes us a step closer to enhancing that vision.” The Keynote address was given by Lion K. Govindraj, Past Chairman of Hyderabad Chapter who shared his insights on the theme “PR as a Profession”and emphasised on the skills required to be a good PR professional and the career options.
Mr. Krishna Baji Past NVP (South) of PRSI and Convener of the Nalanda Forum Sub Committee of Hyderabad Chapter listed the achievements of the Chapter in all the programs initiated by PRSI that benefits the student community and said Hyderabad Chapter is on top in the country with 11 educational institutions as part of the Nalanda Student Forum initiative.
Dr. Fatima Raheem, Co Convener of Nalanda Forum Sub Committee of the Hyderabad Chapter of PRSI, said, “The Nalanda Student Forum is a meaningful initiative of PRSI to make students aware of the trends in the PR and communication industry and lauded the purpose of creating student forum in institutions.”
Also present were Mrs. Thane Savariappa, HOD Arts and Mr. Nobin Charly, Assistant Professor, Department of Mass Communication & Journalism of Little Flower Degree College stressed upon creating a mentorship ecosystem and preparing students to become future leaders.

హైదరాబాద్ : లిటిల్ ఫ్లవర్ డిగ్రీ కాలేజ్, ఉప్పల్, ఫిబ్రవరి 16, 2026న పబ్లిక్ రిలేషన్స్ సొసైటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (PRSI) హైదరాబాద్ చాప్టర్తో కుదుర్చుకున్న అవగాహన ఒప్పందాన్ని (MoU) పునరుద్ధరించుకుంది. ఈ భాగస్వామ్యం ద్వారా కళాశాలలో “నలంద PRSI–LFDC స్టూడెంట్ ఫోరం” స్థాపించబడింది. విద్యా రంగం, పరిశ్రమల మధ్య ఉన్న అంతరాన్ని తగ్గించడమే ఈ భాగస్వామ్య ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం.
ఈ ఒప్పందం ప్రకారం 2026–27, 2027–28 విద్యా సంవత్సరాలలో విద్యార్థి కేంద్రిత కార్యక్రమాల శ్రేణి నిర్వహించబడుతుంది. వీటి ద్వారా విద్యార్థులకు ప్రాయోగిక అనుభవం, పరిశ్రమల అవగాహన, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి అవకాశాలు లభిస్తాయి. MoU కార్యక్రమానికి PRSI హైదరాబాద్ చాప్టర్ చైర్మన్ డా. యాదగిరి కంభంపాటి, సీనియర్ మెంబర్ శ్రీ కృష్ణ బాజీ (కన్వీనర్), నలంద ఇనిషియేటివ్ సహ-కన్వీనర్ డా. ఫాతిమా రహీమ్, అలాగే హైదరాబాద్ చాప్టర్ నలంద స్టూడెంట్ ఫోరం సబ్ కమిటీ కమిటీ సభ్యుడు, మాజీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీ కె. గోవింద్రాజ్ హాజరయ్యారు.
డా. యాదగిరి కంభంపాటి మాట్లాడుతూ హైదరాబాద్ చాప్టర్, నలంద స్టూడెంట్ ఫోరం 11 విద్యాసంస్థలను భాగస్వామ్యం చేసుకుని దేశంలోనే అగ్రస్థానంలో ఉందని తెలిపారు. లిటిల్ ఫ్లవర్ డిగ్రీ కాలేజ్ ప్రిన్సిపాల్ శ్రీమతి పి. జయంతి రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, “మా లక్ష్యం ‘అకాడెమిక్స్ను పరిశ్రమలతో అనుసంధానం చేయడం’. PRSIతో ఈ భాగస్వామ్యం మా దృష్టిని మరింత ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్తుంది” అని అన్నారు.
హైదరాబాద్ చాప్టర్ మాజీ చైర్మన్ లయన్ కె. గోవింద్రాజ్ ప్రధానోపన్యాసం అందించారు. “PR ఒక వృత్తిగా” అనే అంశంపై ఆయన తన అభిప్రాయాలను పంచుకుంటూ, మంచి PR నిపుణుడిగా మారేందుకు అవసరమైన నైపుణ్యాలు, వృత్తి అవకాశాల గురించి వివరించారు. PRSI మాజీ నేషనల్ వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ (దక్షిణ), నలంద ఫోరం సబ్ కమిటీ కన్వీనర్ శ్రీ కృష్ణ బాజీ మాట్లాడుతూ, PRSI ప్రారంభించిన వివిధ కార్యక్రమాలలో హైదరాబాద్ చాప్టర్ సాధించిన విజయాలను వివరించారు.
హైదరాబాద్ చాప్టర్ నలంద ఫోరం సబ్ కమిటీ సహ-కన్వీనర్ డా. ఫాతిమా రహీమ్ మాట్లాడుతూ, “PRSI-నలంద స్టూడెంట్ ఫోరం అనేది PR, కమ్యూనికేషన్ రంగంలోని ప్రస్తుత ధోరణులపై విద్యార్థులకు అవగాహన కల్పించే ఒక అర్థవంతమైన కార్యక్రమం” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి లిటిల్ ఫ్లవర్ డిగ్రీ కాలేజ్ ఆర్ట్స్ విభాగాధిపతి శ్రీమతి థానే సవారియప్ప, మాస్ కమ్యూనికేషన్ & జర్నలిజం విభాగానికి చెందిన అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్ శ్రీ నోబిన్ చార్లీ కూడా హాజరై, విద్యార్థులను భవిష్యత్ నాయకులుగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు మెంటార్షిప్ వ్యవస్థను అభివృద్ధి చేయాలనే ప్రాముఖ్యతను తెలిపారు.
