హైదరాబాద్ : దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ భద్రతే మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యత అని, రైలు కార్యకలాపాలలో భద్రతను నిర్ధారించడానికి అన్ని భద్రతా ప్రమాణాలను పాటించడంలో ఎటువంటి రాజీ ఉండదని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఏప్రిల్ 20న సికింద్రాబాద్లోని రైల్ నిలయంలో జోన్ వ్యాప్తంగా రైలు కార్యకలాపాల భద్రతపై ఒక సవివరమైన సమావేశాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే అదనపు జనరల్ మేనేజర్ శ్రీ సత్య ప్రకాష్, వివిధ శాఖల ప్రధాన అధిపతులతో పాటు పాల్గొన్నారు.
విజయవాడ, గుంతకల్లు , గుంటూరు, సికింద్రాబాద్, హైదరాబాద్ మరియు నాందేడ్ డివిజన్ల మొత్తం ఆరు డివిజన్ల డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్లు (డి.ఆర్.ఎమ్ లు ) వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా పాల్గొన్నారు.
సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ రాబోయే వేసవి కాలాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని జోన్ తీసుకుంటున్న జాగ్రత్తలను సమీక్షించారు. వేసవిని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని రద్దీ నియంత్రణ చర్యలపై దృష్టి సారించాలని, రద్దీని నిర్వహించడానికి సరైన కార్యాచరణ ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించాలని ఆయన అధికారులందరినీ ఆదేశించారు. ఆయన అన్ని స్టేషన్లు మరియు రైళ్లలో సరైన తాగునీటి సౌకర్యాలు మరియు టాయిలెట్ల పరిశుభ్రతపై నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షణ ఉండాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
వేసవి కాలాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని, అసురక్షిత పరిస్థితులను నివారించడానికి మరియు రైళ్ల కార్యకలాపాలు సురక్షితంగా సాగేలా చూసేందుకు అన్ని అగ్నిమాపక భద్రతా చర్యలను ఖచ్చితంగా పాటించాలని ఆయన అన్నారు. జోన్లోని పాయింట్లు మరియు క్రాసింగ్లకు సంబంధించిన భద్రతా తనిఖీలను ఆయన డీఆర్ఎమ్లతో సమీక్షించారు. అలాగే లోకో పైలట్లు మరియు రైలు మేనేజర్ల వద్ద వాకీ-టాకీల లభ్యత, ప్రైవేట్ సైడింగ్లలో సీసీటీవీల స్థితి మరియు భద్రతకు సంబంధించిన ఇతర పెండింగ్ అంశాలపై కూడా చర్చించారు.
పని ప్రదేశాలలో సురక్షితమైన పనితీరును నిర్ధారించడానికి సంబంధిత అధికారులు క్రమం తప్పకుండా భద్రతా తనిఖీలు చేపట్టాలని జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సూచించారు. పనిచేస్తున్నప్పుడు భద్రతా పరికరాల వాడకంతో సహా అన్ని భద్రతా ప్రమాణాలను పాటించేలా సిబ్బందికి సూచించాలని ఆయన అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ట్రాక్ పై అక్రమ ప్రవేశంపై, ముఖ్యంగా మానవ రహిత లెవెల్ క్రాసింగ్ల వద్ద ప్రమాదకర ప్రదేశాలలో బారికేడ్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సూచించారు.

Hyderabad: Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway state that, the safety is the first priority and no compromise in adhering all the safety standards in train operations in ensuring safety. He held a detailed meeting on safety of train operations across the zone 20th April at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, SCR participated in the meeting along with Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six divisions viz., Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions joined the review meeting through video conference.
Sanjay Kumar Srivastava reviewed the precautions being undertaken by the zone in view of the ensuing summer season. He instructed all the officials to focus on crowd control measures and directed the officials to make proper action plan to manage the crowd in view of summer. He also instructed the officials to ensure proper drinking water facilities and cleanliness of toilets at all the stations and trains.
In view of summer season all the fire safety measures to be strictly adhered to avoid unsafe conditions and to ensure safe running of trains operations, he added. He reviewed on the safety inspections related to points and crossings over the zone with the DRMs and also discussed on the availability of walkie-talkies with loco pilots and train managers, status of CCTVs at private sidings and other pending issues related to safety.
The General Manager advised the concerned officials to undertake regular safety inspections to ensure safe working at the work sites. He instructed the officials to advice the staff working to follow all the safety standards including usage of safety gadgets while working. On trespassing General Manager advised for barricading at the vulnerable locations especially at un maned level crossings.
