Hyderabad : Dr B R Ambedkar Open University organized Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao Memorial Lecture as part of 110th Birthday Celebrations on September 11, 2024 at its campus. The Chief Guest Prof. P. Ramulu, Senior Professor of Telugu, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad delivered the lecture on “Kaloji Jeevitham, Sahithyam- Nete Samajaniki Sandesam”. Prof. Ramulu stated that Kaloji’s aim was to sensitize the Telangana society by using the mistakes that were happening before him as tools of criticism without any pretense, the development of the society with and he fought till the end of life, he believed in Making the common people who are oppressed by the rulers conscious and writing literary works in the language of the people is worth the effort of participating in many social movements in Telangana.
He said that Kaloji’s modest life is ideal for future generations. in the Telangana movement, scientific writings and language were important that Kaloji’s poetry used to question the irresponsibility of the people, it used to remind them of responsibility from time to time, the mistakes made by leaders in relation to contemporary politics. On the one hand questioning the leaders and on the other hand warning the enforcers of the laws. He explained that he was fond of the constitution and wished that the thought processes of the leaders should be within the scope of the state. He said that if he gets angry on any matter, no matter how big or small he criticizes.
RAOU presided over the program, she said Kaloji stood in the front row among Telangana veterans, and reminded that during his life, he had the philosophy of Telangana language, Telangana accent and the separate statewood for Telangana. It is stated that Kaloji’s writings were the lifeblood of the Telangana movement. She also stated that Kaloji’s writings were the lifeblood of the Telangana movement. Prof.Vaddanam Srinivas, Dean, faculty of Social Science and Director EMR&RC introduced about the Chief Guest. The program was attended by the Directors, Deans, Heads of the branches, Teaching and Non-teaching Staff members and representatives of various service associations.

హైదరాబాద్ : పాలకులు చేసే తప్పులను, సమాజంలో జరుగుతున్న అన్యాయాలను ఎలాంటి మొహమాటం లేకుండా విమర్శనాస్త్రాలుగా ప్రయోగిస్తూ తెలంగాణ సమాజాన్ని చైతన్య పరుస్తూ ప్రజల గొంతుకగా కాళోజీ ఉండేవారని హైదరాబాద్ కేంద్రీయ విశ్వవిద్యాలయ తెలుగు శాఖాధ్యక్షులు ఆచార్య పి. రాములు పేర్కొన్నారు. తెలంగాణ వైతాళికులు కాళోజీ నారాయణరావు 110వ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో బుధవారం స్మారకోపన్యాసం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆచార్యులు ప్రొ. రాములు… “కాళోజీ జీవితం, సాహిత్యం – నేటి సమాజానికి సందేశం” అనే అంశంపై ప్రసంగించారు.
ప్రొ. రాములు మాట్లాడుతూ కాళోజీ తన జీవితం మొత్తం సమాజాభివృద్ధికే పాటుపడ్డారని, తాను నమ్ముకున్న సిద్ధాంతం కోసమే చివరి వరకు పరితపించారన్నారు. పాలకుల చేత అణచివేయబడే సామాన్య ప్రజలను చైతన్యవంతులుగా చేయడం, ప్రజల భాషలోనే సాహిత్య రచనలు చేయడం ఒక్క కాళోజీకే చెల్లిందన్నారు. తెలంగాణలో వచ్చిన ఎన్నో సామాజిక ఉద్యమాల్లో పాల్గొన్న చరిత్ర ఒక్క కాళోజీకే ఉందన్నారు. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో కాళోజీ రచనలకు, భాషకు ప్రాముఖ్యత ఏర్పడిందన్నారు. తెలంగాణ ప్రజా సమస్యలే తన సమస్యలుగా కవిత్యం రాసేవారన్నారు. కాళోజీ కవిత్యం ప్రజల్లో నెలకొన్న బాధ్యతా రాహిత్యాన్ని ప్రశ్నించేదిగా, బాధ్యత ఎప్పటికప్పుడు గుర్తు చేసేదిగా ఉండేదని, సమకాళిన రాజకీయాలకు సంబంధించి నేతలు చేసే తప్పులను ఎండగట్టేలా ఉండేదన్నారు. ఒకవైపు నేతలని ప్రశ్నిస్తూ మరో వైపు చట్టాలను అమలు చేసేవాళ్ళను హెచ్చరిస్తూ ఒక భాద్యత గల పౌరిడిగా చట్టాలను తనకు తానే పాటిస్తూ ఆదర్శంగా ఉండేవారని ప్రొ. రాములు ఉదహరించారు. తెలంగాణ బాష, యాసతో పాటు ప్రజలు వాడే బాష తెలంగాణ పల్లెల్లో వాడుకలో ఉండే మాండలికాలనే విరివిగా వాదేవారన్నారు. తనకు ఏ విషయంపైనా అయినా కోపం వస్తే పెద్ద చిన్న అనే తేడా లేకుండా మొఖం మీదే విమర్శించే వారని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి అధ్యక్షత వహించిన విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. జి. పుష్పా చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో తెలంగాణ వైతాళికుల జయంతి సదర్భంగా డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో స్మారకోపన్యాసాలు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తూ వారి జీవిత విశేషాలు భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు పరిచయం అయ్యేలా, పరిశోధకులకు, చరిత్రకారులకు ఉపయోగపడేలా నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని పేర్కొంటూ ముఖ్య అతిథిని పరిచయం చేశారు. తెలంగాణ వైతాళికుల్లో కాళోజీ ముందు వరసలో నిలుస్తారని, తనజీవిత కాలం తెలంగాణ భాష, తెలంగాణ యాస, ప్రత్యేక రాష్త్ర ఆవిర్భావం అనే ధ్యాసనే ఉండేదని గుర్తు చేశారు. కార్యక్రమంలో విశ్వవిద్యాలయ సామాజిక శాస్త్రాల డీన్, ఇ.ఎం.ఆర్ & ఆర్.సి డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ.వడ్డాణం శ్రీనివాస్ ముఖ్య అతిథిని సభకు పరిచయం చేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పలువురు డీన్స్, డైరెక్టర్స్, అన్ని ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల నాయకులు, అధ్యాపక, అధ్యాపకేతర సిబ్బంది తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
