అంబేద్కర్ వర్శిటీలో ఘనంగా జాతీయ సైన్స్ దినోత్సవ వేడుకలు
హైదరాబాద్ : డాక్టర్ బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయం సైన్స్ విభాగం ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించిన జాతీయ సైన్స్ దినోత్సవం కార్యక్రమంలో సుదూర సమూహ గెలాక్సీల స్థాపకులు, ప్రఖ్యాత ఖగోళ శాస్త్రవేత్త డా. విఠల్ టిల్వి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హజారై “అన్వేషణ : లోతైన మహా సముద్రం నుండి ఎత్తైన అంతరిక్షం వరకు” అనే అంశంపై ప్రసంగించారు.
అయిన మాట్లాడుతూ భారత దేశంలో భిన్నమైన వాతావరణ పరిస్థితులు ఉంటాయని, అటు సముద్రంలోని ఆటుపోట్లను ఇటు అంతరిక్షం లోని నక్షత్రాల ఉనికిని పసిగట్టేలా వాతావరణం ఉంటుందని, ప్రపంచంలో ఖగోళ శాస్త్ర, సముద్ర వాతావరణ పరిశోధనలకు భారత్ అనువైన దేశంగా డా. విఠల్ టిల్వి వివరించారు. ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా పేరుగాంచిన పరిశోధకుల్లో చాలా మందు మన దేశం నుండి ఉండడం గర్వంగా ఉందని, ఇక్కడ ప్రభుత్వాలు కూడా ఆయా విభాగాల్లో పతిశోధనలకు ప్రాధాన్యతను ఇస్తున్నట్లు వివరించారు. ఆస్ట్రోనాట్ గా తన పరిశోధక ప్రయాణ సంఘటనలను, తను శోధించిన అంశాలను పరిశోధక విద్యార్థులకు వివరించారు. ఖగోళ శాస్త్ర అధ్యయనం, పరిశోధన సమయంలో తీసుకోవాల్సిన జాగ్రత్తలను వివరించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి అధ్యక్షత వహించిన విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య కె. సీతారామ రావు మాట్లాడుతూ తమ విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో సైన్స్ విభాగానికి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా మంచి గుర్తింపు ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు. రానున్న రోజుల్లో డిగ్రీ స్థాయిలో ఖగోళ శాస్త్ర అధ్యనం ఒక కోర్సుగా పెట్టే అంశాన్ని పరిశీలిస్తాము అని ప్రకటించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో గౌరవ అతిథిగాలుగా పాల్గొన్న విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. ఘంటా చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత విద్యార్థులకు సైన్స్ కోర్సులను మరింత విరివిగా పరిచయం చేయడమే లక్ష్యంగా ముందుకు వెళుతున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
సైన్స్ విభాగ డీన్ ప్రొ. పుష్ప చక్రపాణి మాట్లడుతూ సైన్స్ దినోత్సవ ఆవశ్యకతను వివరించారు. ముఖ్య అతిథిని సభకు పరిచయం చేశారు. ఈ జాతీయ సైన్స్ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా విశ్వవిద్యాలయ విద్యార్థులు ప్రత్యేక వైజ్ఞానికి ప్రదర్శనను నిర్వహించారు. ఆయా స్టాల్ల్స్ దగ్గర విద్యార్థుల కోలాహలం కనిపించింది. కార్యక్రమంలో అన్ని విభాగాల అధిపతులు, డీన్స్, బోధన, భోదనేతర సిబ్బంది విద్యార్థులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Hyderabad : Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Faculty of Sciences organized National Science Day program on “Exploration : From Deep Ocean to Deep Space” at its campus at Jubilee Hills on March 6, 2023.
Dr. Vithal Tilvi, The Founder of the Farthest group of galaxies delivered a lecture on “Exploration: From Deep Ocean to Deep Space”. Dr. Tilvi said that there are different weather conditions in the country of India, such as the weather in the ocean and the presence of stars in space, and India is an ideal country for astronomy and ocean weather research.
He explained that many of the world-renowned researchers are proud to have from our country, and the governments here are also giving priority to research in the respective departments. He explained to the students, the events of his research journey as an astronaut.
Prof K. Seetharama Rao, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU presided over the program. Prof. Rao said that the science faculty of university has a good reputation across the country. It has been announced that in the coming days we will look into the matter of making the study of astronomy one of the subject at Under Graduate level.
Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Director (Academic) attended as guest of honor for the program. He said that the aim is to introduce more science courses to create awareness to the rural students. Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Dean Faculty of Sciences, explained about the significance of National Science As a part National Science Day. University Students organized a special science exhibition. The Science students, Staff members, faculty members, directors, deans and Heads of branches attended the program.
