Hyderabad : Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed deep condolences over the death of Gurpreet Singh in the SLBC tunnel accident.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh to the bereaved family. The body of Gurpreet Singh, a native of Punjab, was recovered today from the SLBC tunnel, where a recent accident had occurred.
Gurpreet Singh was working as a tunnel boring machine (TBM) operator in the SLBC tunnel. He was employed by the American company Robinson and served as a TBM operator. Expressing sorrow over his demise, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy conveyed their deep condolences.
They assured support to the family by announcing a compensation of Rs 25 lakh and arranged for the mortal remains to be sent to his native village in Punjab.

హైదరాబాద్ : ఇటీవల ఎస్.ఎల్.బి.సి సొరంగంలో జరిగిన ప్రమాదంలో పంజాబ్ కు చెందిన గురుప్రీత్ సింగ్ మృత దేహం ఈ రోజు లభించింది. పంజాబ్ కు చెందిన గురుప్రీత్ సింగ్ సొరంగంలో టన్నెల్ బోరింగ్ మిషన్ ఆపరేటర్ గా పని చేస్తున్నారు. అమెరికా కు చెందిన రాబిన్ సన్ కంపెనీ లో ఉద్యోగిగా ఆయన టిబిఎమ్ ఆపరేటర్ గా చేస్తున్నారు.
ఈ దుర్ఘటనలో గురుప్రీత్ సింగ్ మృతి చెందడం పట్ల ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, నీటి పారుదల శాఖ మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి ప్రగాఢ సంతాపం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. గురుప్రీత్ సింగ్ కుటుంబానికి తమ ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి వ్యక్తం చేస్తూ 25 లక్షల రూపాయల నష్టపరిహారం అందజేస్తామని ప్రకటించారు. అలాగే మృత దేహాన్ని పంజాబ్ లోని వారి స్వగ్రామానికి పంపించారు.
