Hyderabad : Today, I, along with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and fellow MPs, met Hon’ble Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and requested early sanction of the new railway line from Dornakal to Gadwal via Kalwakurthy, Nagarkurnool and Wanaparthy.
The Railway Minister replied that the DPR had been completed and submitted to the Railway Board for further processing towards final approval by the Cabinet. We conveyed our heartfelt thanks for taking up this new railway line, which will be a lifeline for the Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituency.
This new line will bring development to the backward areas of Nagarkurnool, in addition to connecting the constituency with India’s railway network.

I hope that the process of obtaining final approval from the Cabinet will be completed within one year. I will continue to follow up with the Hon’ble Minister and the Chairman of the Railway Board for early sanction of the new railway line.
