Hyderabad : Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, Centre for Skill Development and Training Centre organized awareness workshop on “INFLIBNET Research Services” at its campus on Tuesday. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU attended as chief guest for the program.
Prof. Chakrapani suggested that to provide quality education, academicians should conduct high-level research and incorporate the findings into the curriculum. He advised utilizing the services of INFLIBNET an agency under the Central Government noting that it offers a wide range of research tools. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani emphasized the need to create opportunities and pathways to advance the country’s research sector; he stated that achieving this requires adopting new approaches that integrate research-based knowledge, skills, value-based education, and accountability. He also highlighted that research activities at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University are conducted in a far more comprehensive and systematic manner compared to other universities a fact frequently acknowledged by faculty members from other institutions.
Prof. E. Sudha Rani, In-charge Director Academic presided over the program. She stated that various workshops were organized for research scholars to facilitate the production of high-quality research papers. Prof. Devika P. Madalli, INFLIBNET Director participated in the event virtually and addressed the gathering. She explained the services offered by INFLIBNET and discussed topics such as avoiding copyright issues in research and the methods for gathering relevant information and data during the research process.

Prof. C. Venkataiah, Research Division Coordinator and Prof. ARD Prasad Coordinator Workshop participated as guests of honor and spoke on the occasion. Later, in technical sessions, INFLIBNET scientists Dr. Abhishek Kumar, spoke about Shodh Chakra; K. Manoj Kumar about Shodh Ganga; Dr. Surbhi about Shodh Shuddhi; and Pallab Pradhan about IRINS and presented a detailed presentations. All Directors, Deans, Research Scholars were participated in the program.
