హైదరాబాద్ : దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే 2025-26 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికిగాను రూ. 21,211.92 కోట్ల స్థూల ఆదాయాన్ని నమోదు చేసింది. జోన్ ప్రారంభమైనప్పటి నుండి నమోదైన ఇదే అత్యధిక ఆదాయం. దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే బృందం అంకితభావంతో చేసిన కృషి ఫలితంగా, ఈ జోన్ గత నాలుగు ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరాలుగా వరుసగా ఆదాయం విషయంలో రికార్డు స్థాయి గణాంకాలను నమోదు చేస్తూ వస్తోంది. గత ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరం (2024-25)తో పోలిస్తే, సరుకు రవాణా మరియు ప్రయాణీకుల విభాగాలలో అద్భుతమైన పనితీరు కారణంగా 2025-26 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో ఈ జోన్ 3.12శాతం వృద్ధిని నమోదు చేసింది.
ఈ జోన్ సరుకు రవాణా విభాగంపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించడం వల్ల, స్థూల ఆదాయంలో ఈ అద్భుతమైన విజయాన్ని నమోదు చేయడం ద్వారా సాధ్యమైంది. దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే సరుకు రవాణాలో వైవిధ్యభరితంగా చేసిన ముమ్మర కృషి ఫలితంగా 2025-26 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో 147.87మిలియన్ టన్నుల సరుకును రవాణా చేయడం ద్వారా, రూ. 13,835.27 కోట్ల ఆదాయాన్ని నమోదు చేసింది. అంతేకాకుండా దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే 2025-26 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికిగాను ప్రయాణీకుల రవాణా ద్వారా రూ. 6235.37 కోట్ల రికార్డు స్థాయి ఆదాయాన్ని నమోదు చేసింది. ఇది గత 2024-25ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరం లో నమోదైన అత్యుత్తమ గణాంకమైన రూ. 5714.83 కోట్ల కంటే 9.11శాతం మేర అధికం. అంతేకాకుండా రైల్వే బోర్డు నిర్దేశించిన లక్ష్యాన్ని కూడా ఈ జోన్ 1.42 శాతం మేర అధిగమించింది. 2025-26 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో 286.44 మిలియన్ల మంది ప్రయాణీకులు ప్రయాణం చేయడం ద్వారా ఈ రికార్డు ఆదాయాలు సాధ్యమయ్యాయి.
2025-26 సంవత్సరంలో దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే ఇతర కోచింగ్ విభాగంలో రూ. 515.18 కోట్ల ఆదాయాన్ని ఆర్జించిందన్నది గమనార్హం. ఈ ఇతర కోచింగ్ ఆదాయంలో పార్శిల్ ఆదాయం, టికెట్ తనిఖీ జరిమానాలు, కోచ్ బుకింగ్ మొదలైనవి చేరి ఉన్నాయి. అంతేకాకుండా, ఈ జోన్ ఇతర ఆదాయాల కింద రూ. 626.10 కోట్ల ఆదాయాన్ని నమోదు చేసింది. ఇది గత ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరం (2024-25) కంటే 36.98శాతం అధికం. ఈ ఇతర ఆదాయాలలో పార్కింగ్, క్యాటరింగ్, ప్రయాణేతర ఆదాయం, పే & యూజ్ టాయిలెట్లు, విశ్రాంతి గదులు మొదలైనవి చేరి ఉన్నాయి.
దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ ఈ అత్యుత్తమ పనితీరును సాధించినందుకు అధికారులు మరియు సిబ్బంది చేసిన కృషిని ప్రశంసించారు. ఈ మైలురాయి దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే బృందం యొక్క సమిష్టి నిబద్ధతను, సమన్వయ ప్రయత్నాలను ప్రతిబింబిస్తుందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. జనరల్ మేనేజర్ నిరంతర ఆవిష్కరణలు, మెరుగైన సామర్థ్యం మరియు వినియోగదారుల-కేంద్రీకృత విధానం ద్వారా భవిష్యత్తులో కూడా ఇదే ఉత్సాహాన్ని కొనసాగించాల్సిన అవసరాన్ని నొక్కి చెప్పారు.

Hyderabad: South Central Railway has registered gross originating revenue of Rs. 21,211.92 crores for the financial year 2025-26, which is the highest ever since the zones’ inception. With the dedicated efforts of team SCR, the zone has registered record breaking figures in terms of revenue for four consecutive financial years. As compared to the previous financial year (2024-25), the zone has seen an increase of 3.12% in 2025-26 backed by excellent performance in both freight and passenger segments.
Major thrust given by the zone towards freight segment has helped in registering this remarkable achievement in originating gross earnings. SCR has registered revenue of Rs. 13,835.27 crores by loading of 147.87 Million Tonnes of freight during the financial year 2025-26. This is a result of the intensified efforts of the zone in diversifying traffic streams. Further, SCR has registered record originating passenger revenue of Rs. 6235.37 crores for the financial year 2025-26, which is 9.11% higher than the previous best of Rs. 5714.83 crores in 2024-25. With this, the zone has also surpassed the target set by the Railway board by 1.42%. The record earnings were realized by carrying 286.44 Million originating passengers during financial year 2025-26.
It is noteworthy that South Central Railway has attained revenue of Rs 515.18 Crores in Other Coaching Segment during the year 2025-26. The other coaching revenue includes parcel revenue, Ticket Checking penalties, coach booking etc. Further the zone has recorded revenue of Rs. 626.10 crores in Sundry Earnings which is 36.98% higher than the previous financial year (2024-25). The Sundry Earnings include Parking, Catering, Non-Fare revenue, Pay & Use Toilets, Retiring rooms etc.
Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, SCR commended the efforts of officers and staff for this outstanding achievement. He stated that this milestone reflects the collective commitment and coordinated efforts of team SCR. The General Manager emphasized the need to sustain this momentum through continuous innovation, improved efficiency and customer-centric approach.
