Hyderabad : Telangana State BJP President N Ramchander Rao today strongly condemned the arrests of BJP workers and announced that the party would intensify the movement against the state Congress government’s failures, deceptions, and incompetent governance.
He was addressing media at Punjagutta police station where he was taken by police after his arrest. The BJP state chief Rao and hundred of party activists including women were taken into custody when they were proceeding to “ siege assembly ” in protest against government’s failure in implementing guarantees and promises given to people of Telangana.
Rao alleged that even after 26 months of the Congress government coming to power, it has completely ignored the promises and guarantees made to the people. In protest against the state government’s attitude, the BJP organized an “Assembly Siege” program today.
He said BJP has organized the assembly siege to question the government and raise the voice of the people. The arrests of our leaders at the assembly was another example of the Congress government’s anti-democratic attitude.
Over 800 BJP workers, including 150 women and many Yuva Morcha activists, were illegally arrested and held across nine police stations, he said adding that leaders were placed under house arrest starting from midnight and thousands of workers from various districts were prevented entering into Hyderabad
He said not a single one of the “Six Guarantees” is reaching the people effectively. Except for free bus travel for women, all other guarantees have been sidelined. The government is merely engaging in false propaganda claiming they have been implemented.
BJP state chief accused the state Congress government of deceiving all sections of society after coming to power by not fulfilling its promises given to people before elections. He alleged that the Congress Party had released special declarations for farmers, youth, BC, SC, and ST communities, gaining the trust of millions of families. However, after coming to power, the implementation of these guarantees is nowhere to be seen.
Rao said the state government still owes farmers up to Rs 45,000 per acre under the Rythu Bharosa scheme and about Rs 8,000 crores in fee reimbursement dues are pending and educational institutions are withholding students’ certificates leaving their futures in uncertainty.
He pointed out that the government is showing utter negligence regarding pensions for the disabled, women’s pensions, and retirement benefits for retired employees.
He warned that the party will continue to confront the Congress government, which cheated the people with fraudulent promises and demanded it immediately implement the guarantees and promises made to the people.
6 గ్యారంటీల్లో ఏ ఒక్కటి కూడా ప్రజలకు చేరడం లేదు
హైదరాబాద్ : కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చి 26 నెలలు పూర్తవుతున్నా, ప్రజలకు ఇచ్చిన హామీలు, వాగ్దానాలను పూర్తిగా విస్మరించింది. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ వైఖరికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఈరోజు బిజెపి ఆధ్వర్యంలో అసెంబ్లీ ముట్టడి కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టడం జరిగింది.
6 గ్యారంటీల్లో ఏ ఒక్కటి కూడా ప్రజలకు చేరడం లేదు. మహిళలకు ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణం తప్ప, మిగతా గ్యారంటీలన్నింటినీ పక్కనబెట్టి, అమలు చేసినట్లు అబద్ధపు ప్రచారం చేస్తోంది.
గత అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల సమయంలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ రైతు, యువత, బీసీ, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ వర్గాలకు ప్రత్యేక డిక్లరేషన్లు విడుదల చేసి, లక్షలాది కుటుంబాలను నమ్మించింది. కానీ అధికారంలోకి వర్చాక ఆ గ్యారంటీల అమలు ఎక్కడా కనిపించడం లేదు. అన్ని వర్గాలను మభ్యపెట్టి, ఇప్పుడు వారిని నిండా మోసం చేసింది.
రాష్ట్రంలో రైతులకు ఇంకా రైతు భరోసా కింద ఎకరానికి రూ.45,000 వరకు బకాయిలు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంది. దాదాపు రూ.8,000 కోట్ల ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిలు పెండింగ్లో ఉండటంతో విద్యాసంస్థలు విద్యార్థులకు సర్టిఫికెట్లు ఇవ్వకుండా వేధిస్తున్నాయి. దీని వల్ల విద్యార్థుల భవిష్యత్తు అనిశ్చితిలో పడింది.
అదేవిధంగా దివ్యాంగుల పెన్షన్లు, మహిళల పెన్షన్లు, రిటైర్డ్ ఉద్యోగుల రిటైర్మెంట్ బెనిఫిట్స్ విషయంలో కూడా కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం పూర్తిగా నిర్లక్ష్యం ప్రదర్శిస్తోంది. మేము ఎన్నిసార్లు లేఖలు రాసినా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం స్పందించడం లేదు.
ఈ పరిస్థితుల్లో ప్రజల తరఫున ప్రశ్నించడానికి, వారి వాణిని వినిపించడానికి బిజెపి ఆధ్వర్యంలో అసెంబ్లీ ముట్టడి చేపట్టాం. అయితే మమ్మల్ని అసెంబ్లీ వద్ద అరెస్ట్ చేయడం కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వ అణచివేత ధోరణికి నిదర్శనం. దాదాపు 9 పోలీస్ స్టేషన్లలో 800కు పైగా బిజెపి కార్యకర్తలను, అందులో 150 మంది మహిళలు, యువమోర్చా కార్యకర్తలను అక్రమంగా అరెస్ట్ చేశారు.
అర్ధరాత్రి నుంచే బిజెపి నాయకులను గృహనిర్బంధం చేశారు. వివిధ జిల్లాల నుంచి హైదరాబాద్కు వస్తున్న వేలాది కార్యకర్తలను మార్గమధ్యంలోనే అడ్డుకుని అరెస్ట్ చేయడం తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నాం. మేం తెలంగాణ ప్రజల సమస్యల కోసం పోరాటం చేస్తున్నాం. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చేస్తున్న తప్పిదాలను నిలదీసి ఎండగట్టేందుకు అసెంబ్లీ ముట్టడి చేపట్టాం.
మోసపూరిత హామీలతో ప్రజలను వంచించిన కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని మరింత నిలదీస్తాం. రానున్న రోజుల్లో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ వైఫల్యాలు, మోసాలు, అసమర్థ పాలనకు వ్యతిరేకంగా మా ఉద్యమాన్ని మరింత ఉధృతం చేస్తాం. ప్రజలకు ఇచ్చిన గ్యారంటీలు, హామీలను వెంటనే అమలు చేయాలని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని గట్టిగా డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నాం.

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao was arrested for peacefully protesting against the Congress government’s failures, broken promises, and betrayal of the people of Telangana.
The Congress party came to power by making tall promises to the people. It spoke of guarantees, welfare, and what it called Praja Palana. But in the last two years, the people of Telangana have experienced only cheating, deception, and betrayal. The promises made to farmers, women, youth, employees, pensioners, and other sections of society have remained largely unfulfilled.
What was projected as Praja Palana has today turned into Praja Mosam.
N. Ramchander Rao’s arrest is yet another example of the Congress government’s anti-democratic attitude. Rather than responding to public anger over its failures, the government has chosen to misuse state machinery against those who are raising their voice on behalf of the people.
Telangana BJP launched this “Assembly Siege” protest to reflect the growing anger and frustration of the people of Telangana, who feel cheated by a government that promised much but delivered nothing except disappointment.
