Hyderabad : The Faculty of Commerce and Business Management, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University, is organizing a National Conference on “Business Transformation for Sustainable Development” on 13th and 14th March 2026 at the University Headquarters, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The conference aims to provide a national academic platform to examine how contemporary business models, managerial practices, and technological innovations can address pressing Economic, social, and environmental challenges. Emphasizing sustainability, responsible governance, and strategic transformation, the conference promotes scholarly research and informed dialogue in commerce and management through the following six technical sessions:
- Digital Transformation for Sustainability
- Digital Marketing, Sustainable Retailing, Supply Chain and Operations
- Sustainable Healthcare Services
- Fintech and Sustainable Finance
- Sustainable Human Capital and Leadership
- Sustainable Business Models and Entrepreneurship
Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman, Telangana Council of Higher Education, and Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary to the Government of Telangana, will grace the inaugural session as Chief Guest and Distinguished Guest, respectively. Prof. Sudershan Kuntluru, Dean (Executive Education), Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, will deliver the keynote address. The valedictory session will be graced by Prof. S. Sreenivasa Murthy, Director, Institute of Public Enterprise. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU will preside over the program.
As part of the conference, a panel discussion on the theme “Business Transformation for Sustainable Development” will be organized with participation from eminent academicians and industry professionals, including K. V. Rao (Former Vice-Chancellor, Acharya Nagarjuna University), Anirban Ghosh (Netaji Subhas Open University, Kolkata), B. Sindhu (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University), Prashant Kumar Das (Pai International), David Raju Manne (Healthcare & Life Sciences), and Kishore Nuthalapati (BEKEM Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd.)
Distinguished academicians – G. V. Bhavani Prasad, A. Patrick, NRK Reddy, S. Manimala Rao, G. Naresh Reddy, and Surendra Narendra Patole – will chair the technical sessions. The Faculty has received 182 research papers, and about 250 plus delegates from across the country are expected to participate in the conference.

సమకాలీన వ్యాపార నమూనాలు, నిర్వాహక పద్ధతులు, సాంకేతిక ఆవిష్కరణలు ఒత్తిడితో కూడిన ఆర్థిక, సామాజిక, పర్యావరణ సవాళ్లను ఎలా పరిష్కరించగలవో పరిశీలించడానికి ఒక జాతీయ విద్యా వేదికను అందించడం ఈ సదస్సు లక్ష్యం అని ఆ విభాగ డీన్ ప్రొ. ఆనంద్ పవార్ వెల్లడించారు. ఈ సదస్సులో ఆరు టెక్నికల్ సెషన్ల ద్వారా పలు అంశాలపై సమగ్ర చర్చ జరగనుందని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.
