హైదరాబాద్: త్వరలో జరగబోయే పార్లమెంటు ప్రత్యేక సమావేశాల్లో మహిళా రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లును ఆమోదింపచేయాలని రాజకీయ పార్టీలకు బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత పిలుపునిచ్చారు. సుదీర్ఘకాలంగా పెండింగ్ లో ఉన్న మహిళా బిల్లును పార్లమెంటులో ప్రవేశపెట్టేలా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంపై ఒత్తిడి తీసుకురావాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. మహిళా బిల్లు చారిత్రక అవసరమని, చట్టసభల్లో సరిపడా మహిళల ప్రాతినిధ్యం ఉంటేనే దేశం పురోగమిస్తుందని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.

పౌరుల ఆశయాలు ఆకాంక్షలు నెరవేరుట కోసం సమాజంలోని విభిన్న వర్గాల వారి ప్రాతినిధ్యం చట్టసభల్లో అవసరమని తెలిపారు. చట్టసభల్లో సరిపడా మహిళా ప్రాతినిధ్యం లేకపోతే అసంపూర్ణమవుతుందని, ఏకపక్ష ప్రాతినిధ్యం అవుతుందని అన్నారు. రాజకీయాల్లో మహిళల ప్రాతినిధ్యం పెరగడం సాధికారత రావడమే కాకుండా దేశంలోని కోట్లాది మంది బాలికలకు ఆదర్శంగా ఉంటుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఏ కలా దూరం కాదన్న సందేశం వెళ్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
వినూత్నమైన సరికొత్త ప్రతిపాదనలతో విధానపరమైన నిర్ణయాల్లో మహిళలు కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తారని, చట్టసభల్లో మహిళల ప్రాతినిధ్యం పెరిగితే ఉత్తమమైన విధానాలు వస్తాయని, అవి సమాజానికి ఎంతగానో ఉపయోగపడతాయని వివరించారు. ఇప్పటికే దాదాపు 14 లక్షల మంది మహిళలు క్రియాశీలక ప్రజా జీవితంలో ఉన్నారని, వాటి వల్ల స్థానిక సంస్థలు సమర్థవంతంగా పరిపాలనను సాగిస్తున్నాయని చెప్పారు. కాబట్టి ఈ విషయాన్ని గుర్తించి మహిళలకు విస్తృత స్థాయిలో అవకాశాలు కల్పించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని తెలిపారు.
చట్టసభల్లో మహిళలకు చోటు కల్పించే విషయంలో నిబద్దత లేకపోవడం విచారకరమని పేర్కొన్నారు. లోక్ సభ, రాష్ట్రాల అసెంబ్లీలో మహిళలకు 33 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించే మహిళా బిల్లు సుదీర్ఘకాలంగా పెండింగ్ లో ఉందని గుర్తు చేశారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రానున్న పార్లమెంటు ప్రత్యేక సమావేశాల్లో మహిళా బిల్లును ఆమోదించడానికి మద్దతు ఇవ్వాలని కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. విభేదాలను పక్కనపెట్టి దేశ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం భవిష్యత్తు కోసం అందరూ కలిసి రావాలని, లింగ సమానత్వం కోసం చారిత్రక నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని రాజకీయ పార్టీలకు ఆమె పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
