Hyderabad: Teachers’ Day Celebrations and Best Teacher Awards–2025 were grandly organized under the auspices of TRASMA at Brindavan Gardens, Nizamabad. TPCC President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated it by lighting the lamp. Nizamabad Rural MLA Bhupathi Reddy, Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana, Urdu Academy Chairman Tahir, senior Congress leaders and others participated as special guests.
Speaking on the occasion, TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud highlighted the importance of teachers in Indian culture, stating that after parents, it is teachers who shape the lives of students as noble sculptors. He reminded that students learn not only knowledge but also values, discipline, and humanity from their teachers. Citing history, he recalled how under the guidance of Chanakya, Chandragupta rose to become a great emperor. “The guidance of a teacher molds a student into a virtuous individual and a responsible citizen useful to society,” he said.

Criticizing the last decade of governance, he remarked that lack of vision had pushed the state into a debt trap, burdened with debts of over ₹7.5 lakh crores. He assured that he would work to resolve the problems faced by teachers. He promised special focus on integrated schools, implementation of the health card scheme, setting up skill universities, and bringing engineering and agriculture colleges to the district.
He emphasized that the role of teachers in nation-building is immense and must be recognized by all. At the same time, he advised parents to keep children away from harmful addictions and encourage them to focus on sports. Mahesh Kumar Goud publicly declared that he would continue his efforts for the development of the district and its educational progress.
