हैदराबाद : तेलंगाना इंटेलेक्चुअल्स फोरम की राज्य शाखा के तत्वावधान में ‘लैंग्वेज प्रोफिशिएंसी एक्सीलेंस अवॉर्ड्स-2026’ के लिए चार विश्वविद्यालयों के चार विशिष्ट प्राध्यापकों का चयन किया गया है। ये पुरस्कार तेलुगु, हिंदी, उर्दू और अंग्रेज़ी भाषाओं में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए प्रदान किए जाएंगे।
यह पुरस्कार समारोह इंटरनेशनल मदर लैंग्वेज डे (अंतरराष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिवस) के अवसर पर 21 फरवरी को प्रातः 10 बजे नामपल्ली स्थित इंदिरा प्रियदर्शिनी गवर्नमेंट डिग्री कॉलेज फॉर वुमेन के सेमिनार हॉल में आयोजित किया जाएगा। फोरम के राज्य अध्यक्ष डॉ. राज नारायण मुदिराज ने एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में यह जानकारी दी।
फोरम के राज्य अध्यक्ष ने आगे बताया कि चयनित प्राध्यापकों में- 1. यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ हैदराबाद, गच्चीबौली से तेलुगु विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. पिल्ललामर्री रामुलु को तेलुगु भाषा के लिए, 2. उस्मानिया यूनिवर्सिटी से संबद्ध इंदिरा प्रियदर्शिनी गवर्नमेंट डिग्री कॉलेज फॉर वुमेन की प्राचार्या प्रो. चंद्रा मुखर्जी को हिंदी भाषा के लिए, 3. इंग्लिश एंड फॉरेन लैंग्वेजेस यूनिवर्सिटी के स्कूल ऑफ लिटरेसी स्टडीज़ के डीन प्रो. सोनबा साल्वे को अंग्रेज़ी भाषा के लिए और 4. मौलाना आज़ाद नेशनल उर्दू यूनिवर्सिटी के उर्दू विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. मोसर्रत जहान को उर्दू भाषा के लिए शामिल है।
इस सेमिनार में नालसार यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ लॉ के पूर्व रजिस्ट्रार तथा वर्तमान में तेलंगाना स्टेट काउंसिल ऑफ हायर एजुकेशन के चेयरमैन प्रो. वी. बालकिस्टा रेड्डी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहेंगे। साथ ही समारोह को संबोधित करेंगे तथा चयनित प्राध्यापकों को पुरस्कार प्रदान करेंगे।
इसके अतिरिक्त, नेशनल एनवायरनमेंट प्रोटेक्शन डेवलपमेंट काउंसिल के एडवाइजर एवं प्रख्यात एजुकेशनिस्ट लायन डॉ. कोमटिरेड्डी गोपाल रेड्डी तथा लायंस क्लब ऑफ हैदराबाद समर्पण के डायरेक्टर लायन प्रेमचंद मुनोत जैन सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लेकर अपने विचार व्यक्त करेंगे।

Selection of Language Proficiency Excellence Awards-2026 for Language Professors
Hyderabad: Under the aegis of the Telangana Intellectuals Forum, State Unit, the Language Proficiency Excellence Awards 2026 have been announced for four distinguished professors from four universities in the languages of Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English.
The awards will be presented on February 21 at 10 AM at the Seminar Hall of Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College for Women, Nampally, on the occasion of International Mother Language Day.
State President of the Forum, Dr. Raj Narayan Mudiraj, stated in a press release today that the following professors have been selected:
Prof. Pillalamarri Ramulu, Head of the Department of Telugu from University of Hyderabad – for Telugu Language.
Prof. Chandra Mukherjee, Principal of Indira Priyadarshini Government Degree College for Women, affiliated with Osmania University – for Hindi Language.
Prof. Sonba Salve, Dean, School of Literacy Studies, from English and Foreign Languages University – for English Language.
Prof. Mosarrat Jahan, Head of the Department of Urdu from Maulana Azad National Urdu University – for Urdu Language.
During the seminar, eminent legal scholar Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, former Registrar of NALSAR University of Law and currently Chairman of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, will attend as the Chief Guest, deliver the keynote address, and present the awards to the selected professors.
The event will also be addressed by Lion Dr. Komatireddy Gopal Reddy, Advisor to the National Environment Protection Development Council and noted educationist, along with Lion Prem Chand Munot Jain, Director of Lions Club of Hyderabad Samarpan, and other distinguished guests.
