Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi President and BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha called upon students to play a crucial and leading role in achieving “Social Telangana” (Social Telangana). Recalling that students have played pivotal role in the Telangana statehood movement, MLC Kavitha emphasized that students should now take charge of the new socio-political movement for justice and equity in the state. She reaffirmed that the fight for a just and socially equitable Telangana must be driven by the same passion that once achieved statehood, with students at the forefront once again.
Leaders from various student organizations, including BJYM leader Sai Nath, joined Telangana Jagruthi, on Saturday, in the presence of MLC K Kavitha.
Addressing the gathering, MLC Kavitha strongly criticized the central government for stalling the BC reservation bills passed by state legislature. She made it clear that conducting local body elections without ensuring 42 percent reservations for BCs would be unacceptable. She warned of widespread public agitation, if the government attempts to deny rightful representation of BCs.
MLC Kavitha also took a jab at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, mocking his claim that he has given presentation to Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah how to implement caste census. She pointed out that soon after his statement, the Congress party released a photo featuring Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Siddaramaiah, and DK Shivakumar — with Revanth conspicuously absent — exposing his false narrative.
She accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of being desperate for Rahul Gandhi’s attention and failing in governance. “The CM claimed he studied at an RSS school, graduated from a TDP college, and now works for Congress. But even in his current job, he’s unable to score passing marks,” she said sarcastically.
K Kavitha criticized: “Revanth Reddy made half century in visiting Delhi”. She criticized that Revanth Reddy is a weakest, the state has ever seen, even weaker than Kiran Kumar Reddy, the last CM of undivided Andhra Pradesh.
Further criticizing the current administration, MLC Kavitha highlighted the neglect of student and educational issues. She demanded the immediate release of nearly ₹8,000 crore pending fee reimbursement dues and reminded the Congress party of its unfulfilled promise to distribute Vidya Bharosa Cards.

హైదరాబాద్ : సామాజిక తెలంగాణను సాధించడానికి విద్యార్థులు నడుం బిగించాలని, ఈ లక్ష్య సాధనకు విద్యార్థిలోకం కదలిరావాలని తెలంగాణ జాగృతి అధ్యక్షురాలు, బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్సీ కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత పిలుపునిచ్చారు. తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో విద్యార్థులు ముందు వరుసలో ఉండి కొట్లాడారని, తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో విద్యార్థులు కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారని గుర్తు చేసిన ఎమ్మెల్సీ కవిత… అదే స్పూర్తితో సామాజిక తెలంగాణ సాధన ఉద్యమంలో విద్యార్థులు ముందు వరుసలో ఉండాలని అన్నారు.
బీజేవైఎం నాయకుడు సాయి నాథ్ తో పాటు వివిధ విద్యార్థి సంఘాలకు చెందిన నాయకులు, విద్యార్థులు శనివారం నాడు పెద్ద ఎత్తున తెలంగాణ జాగృతిలో చేరారు. వారికి ఎమ్మెల్సీ కవిత తన నివాసంలో కండువా కప్పి తెలంగాణ జాగృతిలోకి ఆహ్వానించారు. తెలంగాణ జాగృతి విద్యార్థి సమాఖ్య నాయకులు వర్షిత్ పెద్దరాజుల, సందీప్ దాసోజు, రాధశ్రీ, వైష్ణవి, శంకర్ గౌడ్ నాయకత్వంలో ఈ చేరికలు జరిగాయి.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఎమ్మెల్సీ కవిత మాట్లాడుతూ… రాష్ట్ర చట్టసభలు ఆమోదించిన బీసీ బిల్లులు కేంద్రం వద్ద పెండింగ్ లో ఉండగానే స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలను నిర్వహించాలన్న ఆలోచన సరికాదని సూచించారు. బీసీలకు 42 రిజర్వేషన్లకు ఇవ్వకుండా ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహిస్తే చూస్తూ ఊరుకోబోమని తేల్చిచెప్పారు. 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించిన తర్వాతే ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించాలని తేల్చిచెప్పారు. రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించకుండా మోసం చేయాలని ప్రయత్నిస్తే పెద్ద ఎత్తున ప్రజా ఉద్యమాన్ని నిర్మిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
కర్నాటకలో కులగణన ఎలా చేయాలో అక్కడి సీఎం సిద్దరామయ్యకు నేర్పించానని సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి చెప్పుకుంటున్నారని, కానీ సీఎం ఈ ప్రకటన చేసిన గంట సేపటికే కాంగ్రెస్ అధికారికంగా ఒక ఫోటో విడుదల చేసిందని, అందులో ఆ ఫోటోలో రాహుల్ గాంధీ, మల్లికార్జున ఖర్గే, సిద్దరామయ్య, డీకే శివకుమార్ ఉన్నారు కానీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాత్రం లేరని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు. దీన్ని బట్టే రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఎన్ని అబద్దాలు ఆడుతున్నారో అర్థమవుతోందని తెలిపారు.
రాహుల్ గాంధీ దర్శనం లేక సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విలవిలలాడుతున్నారని విమర్శించారు. దర్శనాల సంగతి పక్కనబెట్టి ప్రజా సమస్యలపై సీఎం దృష్టిపెట్టాలని సూచించారు. ఆర్ఎస్ఎస్ స్కూల్, టీడీపీ కాలేజీలో చదువుకున్నానని.. జాబ్ కాంగ్రెస్ లో చేస్తున్నానని సీఎం అన్నారని, చేస్తున్న జాబ్ లో కూడా రేవంత్ రెడ్డికి పాస్ మార్కులు రావడం లేదని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు. ఢిల్లీకి వెళ్లడంలో రేవంత్ రెడ్డి హాఫ్ సెంచరీ చేశారని విమర్శించారు. కనీసం మంత్రివర్గాన్ని కూర్పు కూడా చేసుకోవడం ముఖ్యమంత్రికి చేతకావడం లేదని, ఇంత అసమర్థ, బలహీన ముఖ్యమంత్రిని గతంలో ఎప్పుడూ చూడలేదని అన్నారు. ఉమ్మడి రాష్ట్రంలో చివరి ముఖ్యమంత్రి కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి కూడా ఇంత బలహీనంగా లేకుండేనని తెలిపారు. తెలంగాణ ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఢిల్లీలో తాకట్టు పెడుతున్నారని మండిపడ్డారు.
కాగా, విద్యార్థుల సమస్యలు, విద్యారంగ పోరాటాలు చేయాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని తెలిపారు. దాదాపు రూ 8 వేల కోట్ల మేర ఫీజు రియింబర్స్ మెంటు బకాయిలు ఉన్నాయని, వాటిని తక్షణమే విడుదల చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. విద్యా భరోసా కార్డులు పంపిణీ చేస్తామని కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఇచ్చిన హామీని విస్మరిస్తోందని ధ్వజమెత్తారు. తెలంగాణ జాగృతి విద్యార్థి విభాగం మెరుపులా పనిచేయాలని దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.
