Hyderabad: JNTU-Hyderabad and Algorand Foundation today signed an MOU to collaborate on research and development in the area of Blockchain Technology. The initiative will support faculty development programs, research, skill development, innovations and startups in the area of Blockchain technology.
The Vice-Chancellor JNTUH Prof. Katta Narasimha Reddy and Technology lead from Algorand India Dr. Nikhil Varma have exchanged the Collaboration agreement at JNTUH.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Katta Narasimha Reddy, said, ”The University in its endeavor to prepare graduates to the future of work is promoting Skill Development and Faculty development programs in the emerging technologies. This MoU will not only help faculty and students explore the Blockchain technology platform Algorand but also, help build a developer community and foster deeptech innovations and startups on the Blockchain plaform. The opportunity for students and faculty to work on industry use cases is believed to foster applied research in the field and reduce the industry academia gap.”
Speaking after signing of the MoU, Dr. Nikhil Varma, “I am thrilled to be a part of this strategic partnership that will revolutionize blockchain education in India by focusing on faculty training, student learning, and academia-industry facing activities. Together, we will propel India’s technological prowess and create a vibrant blockchain community. We look forward to the transformative outcomes of this partnership.”
