హైదరాబాద్ : దేశ ఆర్థిక అభివృద్ధికి పి. వి. నరసింహారావు సంస్కరణలు నాంది పలికాయని డా. మర్రి చెన్నారెడ్డి మానవవనరుల అభివృద్ధి సంస్థ విశ్రాంత సీనియర్ అధ్యాపకులు వనం జ్వాలా నరసింహారావు పేర్కొన్నారు. భారతరత్న, మాజీ ప్రధాని పి.వి.నరసింహా రావు 104వ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని శనివారం అంబేద్కర్ సార్వత్రిక విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో స్మారకోపన్యాస కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్న వనం జ్వాలా నరసింహారావు “బహుముఖ ప్రజ్ఞాశాలి భారతరత్న పీ.వీ. నరసింహారావు దర్శనికత” అనే అంశంపై స్మారకోపన్యాసం చేశారు. పీ.వీ. నరసింహారావు గొప్ప ఆర్ధిక-రాజకీయ-దౌత్య-సామాజిక-బహుభాషా-విద్యావేత్తదార్శనికుడు, కార్యదక్షుడు, రాజనీతిజ్ఞుడు, తత్త్వశాస్త్రజ్ఞుడు, బహుముఖ ప్రజ్ఞాశీలి అని వివరించారు. పాలకులు, అధికారులు ప్రజల సేవకులుగా ఉండాలని, ప్రజలకు జవాబుదారీగా ఉండాల్సిన అవసరాన్ని గుర్తు చేశారు. పీవీ నరసింహరావుగారు ప్రధానమంత్రిగా ఉన్న కాలంలో భారతదేశాన్ని ప్రపంచ మార్కెట్లకు తెరిచి, ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధిలో కొత్త శకానికి నాంది పలికారని తెలిపారు. భారతదేశ విదేశాంగ విధానం, భాష, విద్యా రంగాలకు చేసిన కృషి, భారతదేశాన్ని కీలకమైన పరివర్తనల ద్వారా నడిపించడమే కాకుండా దాని సాంస్కృతిక, మేధో వారసత్వాన్ని సుసంపన్నం చేసిన నాయకుడిగా ఆయన బహుముఖ వారసత్వాన్ని నొక్కి చెబుతుందిని కొనియాడారు.

ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య. ఘంటా చక్రపాణి అధ్యక్షత వహించి ప్రసంగించారు. ప్రొ. చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడతూ తెలంగాణా వైతాళికుల జీవిత విశేషాలు, సమాజానికి వారు చేసిన సేవలను భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు అందించాలనే లక్ష్యంతోనే విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో క్రమం తప్పకుండా స్మారకోపన్యాసాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని వివరించారు. మాజీ ప్రధాన మంత్రి పీవీ తన హయాంలో తెచ్చిన ఆర్ధిక, పాలనా సంస్కరణలు దేశ ఆర్ధిక వ్యవస్థను బలోపేతం చేసినట్లు గుర్తు చేశారు.

ముఖ్య అతిథిని సభకు విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అకాడమిక్ డైరెక్టర్ ప్రొ. జి. పుష్ప చక్రపాణి పరిచయం చేసి, కార్యక్రమ ఆవశ్యకతను, ఇప్పటి వరకు నిర్వహించిన పీవీ స్మరకోపన్యాసాల వివరాలను వివరించారు. రిజిస్ట్రార్ డా. ఎల్. విజయ కృష్ణారెడ్డి మాట్లాడారు. తెలుగు శాఖ ప్రొ. యన్. రజని వందన సమర్పణ చేశారు. కార్యక్రమంలో బోధన మరియు భోదనేతర సిబ్బంది, ఉద్యోగ సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు, పీవీ కుటుంభ సభ్యులు శేఖర్ మారం రాజు, వై. వి. చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు తదితరులు పాల్గొని పి.వి.నరసింహారావు చిత్ర పటానికి పుష్పాంజలి ఘటించి ఘనంగా నివాళి అర్పించారు.

Hyderabad: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University organized Bharat Ratna P. V. Narasimha Rao Memorial Lecture as part of 104th birth anniversary at its campus on June 28, 2025.

V. Jwala Narasimha Rao, Senior faculty (Retired), Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute, Hyderabad (Dr.MCHRD) was the chief guest for this program. He delivered a lecture on “The Vision of the Multifaceted Intellectual Bharat Ratna P. V. Narasimha Rao”. He said that accountability in governance was clearly visible in his rule. P.V. Narasimha Rao was a great economist-politician-diplomat-social-multilingual-educationalist, a visionary statesman and philosopher.

He also said P. V. Narasimha Rao’s tenure as Prime Minister saw significant steps taken to open global markets in a new era of economic growth, his contributions foreign policy, language, education underscore his multifaceted legacy as a leader who not only guided crucial transformations but also enriched its cultural and intellectual heritage.

Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU presided over the program, Prof. Chakrapani explained that the university is conducting regular commemorative lectures with the aim of imparting the life characteristics of Telangana veterans and their services to the society to the future generations. He recalled that the economic reforms brought by former Prime Minister PV Narsimha Rao during his tenure strengthened the country’s economy. He reminded that governance reforms were brought during his reign.

Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director Academic, introduced about the chief Guest and explain about the program. Dr.L.V.K. Reddy, Registrar spoke on the occasion. Prof.N.Rajani proposed the vote of thanks. All Directors, Deans, Heads of Branches, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff members and representatives of University Service Associations were participated in the program.

Earlier, the guests, Deans, Directors, PV Narasimha Rao family members Shekhar Maram Raju, Y.V. Chandrasekhar Rao and others garlanded the portrait of P. V. Narasimha Rao and offered rich floral tributes.
