హైదరాబాద్: విశ్వవిద్యాలయం అభివృద్ధి కోసం ఉద్యోగులు నిరంతరం కృషి చేయాలని, విద్యార్థులకు సేవలను మరింత విస్తరించాలని విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య.ఘంటా చక్రపాణి పేర్కొన్నారు. డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్శిటీ, బోధనేతర ఉద్యోగుల సంఘం, టెక్నికల్ ఆఫీసర్స్ స్టాఫ్ అసోసియేషన్ నితనంగా ఎన్నికైన తర్వాత ప్రారంభోత్సవ కార్యక్రమానికి విశ్వవిద్యాలయ ఉపకులపతి ఆచార్య. ఘంటా చక్రపాణి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరయ్యారు.
ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ నూతనంగా ఎన్నికైన బోధనేతర ఉద్యోగుల సంఘం (NTEA) మరియు టెక్నికల్ ఆఫీసర్స్ స్టాఫ్ అసోసియేషన్ (TOSA) కార్యవర్గ సభ్యులను అభినందించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రొ. చక్రపాణి మాట్లాడుతూ, విశ్వవిద్యాలయ అభివృద్ధి కోసం PM-USHA నిధుల కింద UGC నుంచి రూ. 25 కోట్లు మంజూరయ్యాయని, UGC అందించే దాదాపు రూ. 10 కోట్ల నిధులతో డిజిటల్ రిసోర్స్ సెంటర్ ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. కొత్త ప్రయోగశాల, సెంట్రల్ ఇన్స్ట్రుమెంటేషన్ సెంటర్ను రూ. 3 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో నిర్మించనున్నట్లు, విశ్వవిద్యాలయ క్యాంపస్లో పనిచేసే అత్యవసర సిబ్బందికి డబుల్ బెడ్రూమ్ గృహ సముదాయాన్ని నిర్మిస్తున్నామన్నారు.
ఉద్యోగులకు వారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు సమగ్ర ఆరోగ్య సంరక్షణ, సౌకర్యాలను అందించడానికి విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో ఆరోగ్య కేంద్రాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసామని ప్రొఫెసర్ చక్రపాణి పేర్కొన్నారు. రాబోయే రోజుల్లో విశ్వవిద్యాలయంలో మహిళలకు ప్రత్యేకంగా స్పోర్ట్స్ లాంజ్, ఉద్యోగుల ఆరోగ్యం, ఫిట్నెస్ కోసం జిమ్ ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.

Dr B R Ambedkar Open University Non-Teaching Employees’ ssociation inaugural function
Hyderabad : Dr B R Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU) Non-Teaching Employees’ Association, Technical Officers Staff Association (TOSA) organized its inaugural function at the university campus on Wednesday.
Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU attended as the chief guest for the function.
Prof. Chakrapani Congratulate both newly elected office bearers of Non-Teaching Employees’ Association (NTEA) and Technical Officers Staff Association (TOSA). Prop. Chakrapani addressing on the occasion, the UGC was sanctioned Rs.20 crores under PM-USHA funds for University development. Digital Resource Center to be set up with funds provided by UGC of about Rs 10 crore. The New laboratory and a Central Instrumentation Center will be built at a cost of Rs. 3 crore.
The UGC will provide financial assistance under the PM USHA Scheme for the development of the University. The University constructing residential accommodation to Essential staff working campus to build a respectable housing complex in the size of a double bedroom for them. Prof. Chakrpani said that the health center was opened to provide comprehensive health care facilities to employees and their family members. He also said that a sports lounge and Gym will be open to all employees for their Health and fitness.
Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy, Registrar and Prof. G. Pushpa Chakrapani, Director Academic attended as the guests of honours for the program and spoke on the occasion. The office bearers of NTEA are President- K. Prem Kumar; Vice-President – Md Miyajani; General Secretary – P.Vishwanath; Joint Secretary- Y. Ashok; Treasurer- B. Pandu and for TOSA – Vice-President – D. Vasantha Rao; General Secretary – Dr. Yakesh Daida; Joint Secretary – E. Srihari; Treasurer – B. Dharma Kalyan are the office bearers.
All Directors, Deans, Heads of Branches, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff members and representatives of various Service Associations also participated.
