BRAOU Signed MoUs With CRPF And Jyothi Reddy Foundation, Read About Its Benefits In This News

Hyderabad : The Education Week initiative undertaken by the Government of Telangana, the “Education Week” celebrations were inaugurated at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, focusing on the theme “Innovation Inclusion, Institutional Excellence and Outreach” at the University campus by Vice Chancellor Prof. Ghanta Chakrapaani. As a part of this the university signed a Memorandum of understanding with Academy industries partners with Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jyothi Reddy Foundation at its campus on Monday.

The two separate MoUs was signed by Registrar, Dr. L. Vijaya Krishna Reddy and Dr. B. Veerraju, Deputy Inspector General, (CRPF) and Smt. D. Jyothi Reddy, President, Jyothi Reddy Foundation and other officials in the presence of Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, BRAOU.

Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani, Vice-Chancellor, said the university will set up a Study centre at CRPF Campus. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani announced that free education for war widows and Dhigvijayan. Prof. Chakrapani reminded that we are moving forward with the aim of providing equal opportunities to all sections of the society and that this university is already fulfilling its social responsibility by providing free education to prisoners and military personnel who are constantly engaged in the service of the country.

It was revealed that a program has already been announced to provide free higher education to the tribals children belonging to the backward tribes of Gond, Koya, Chenchu and other communities in the state, under Equal Opportunity Plan. Prof. Chakrapani appreciated the efforts of the Jyoti Reddy Foundation in supporting marginalized communities, police personals widows to uplift their economic status and encourage their further studies. He stressed the need to uplift deprived sections of society through sustained efforts.
