హైదరాబాద్ : AIRRF, NCCPA మరియు FOCPA పెన్షన్ దారులు ఈ రోజు రైల్ నిలయం ప్రాంగణంలో నిరసన ప్రదర్శన చేశారు. నిరసనదారులు పెన్షను బిల్ చెల్లుబాటును రద్దు చేయాలనే, 8వ వేతన సంఘం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలనే, పెన్షన్ ఒప్పంద కాలాన్ని 15 సంవత్సరాల నుండి 12 సంవత్సరాలకు తగ్గించాలనే, పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న 18 నెలల డీఏ బకాయిలను విడుదల చేయాలని, పింఛన్దారులకు మెరుగైన వైద్య సదుపాయాలు కల్పించాలనే డిమాండ్లతో నినాదాలు చేశారు.
నాయకులు యుగేందర్, శివకుమార్, సుధాకర్ రావు, స్వామి, బాబు రావు, పీవీ లూ, పూర్ణ రావు తదితర నాయకుల నేతృత్వంలో ప్రధానమంత్రికి మేమోరాండం సమర్పించారు. మేమోరాండం అనంతరం సమావేశం నిర్వహించబడింది. ఇందులో డిమాండ్ల సవివర వివరణ ఇచ్చారు.

All India Protest Day
Hyderabad: On October 10, 2025, over 300 retired railway employees, under the banner of the All India Retired Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRRF), held a peaceful demonstration in front of Rail Nilayam, Hyderabad, in response to a nationwide call issued by the National Coordination Committee of Pensioners Associations (NCCPA) for an All India Protest Day.
The demonstrators raised strong slogans demanding the scrapping of the validation of the pension bill, the immediate constitution of the 8th Pay Commission, reduction of the pension commutation period from 15 years to 12 years, release of the long-overdue 18 months Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears, and provision of better medical facilities for pensioners.
A delegation comprising leaders, including Yugendar, Sivakumar, Sudhakara Rao, Swamy, Babu Rao, PV Loo, and Poorna Rao, submitted a memorandum of demands addressed to the Honourable Prime Minister of India. Following the submission, a meeting was held where the demands and issues facing retired railway employees were explained in detail to all present.
The AIRRF urges the Government of India to address these long-pending and just demands of pensioners and ensure justice, dignity, and security in the life of railway pensioners.
