హైదరాబాద్ : దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ, దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే అదనపు జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సత్య ప్రకాష్ మరియు వివిధ శాఖల ప్రధాన అధిపతులతో కలిసి ఈ రోజు సికింద్రాబాద్లోని రైల్ నిలయంలో జోన్ వ్యాప్తంగా రైలు కార్యకలాపాల భద్రతపై ఒక సవివరమైన సమీక్షా సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో సికింద్రాబాద్, హైదరాబాద్, విజయవాడ, గుంటూరు, గుంతకల్లు మరియు నాందేడ్ వంటి ఆరు డివిజన్ల డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్లు (డీఆర్ఎంలు) వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్సింగ్ ద్వారా పాల్గొన్నారు.
రైలు కార్యకలాపాలపై జోన్ అంతటా తీసుకోవాల్సిన తగు భద్రతా చర్యలపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారిస్తూ, సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి ఒక క్రమబద్ధమైన మరియు దశలవారీ విధానాన్ని అనుసరించాలని శ్రీవాస్తవ నొక్కి చెప్పారు. అనివార్య సంఘటలను నివారించడానికి ట్రాక్ల భద్రతను మరింత బలోపేతం చేసేందుకు, ముఖ్యంగా పాయింట్లు మరియు క్రాసింగ్లు, భద్రతకు సంభంధించిన అలారమ్ ల వద్ద భద్రతా డ్రైవ్లు మరియు తనిఖీలను చేపట్టడం యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యతను ఆయన హైలైట్ చేశారు. ట్రాక్ల సమీపంలో పనులు జరుగుతున్నప్పుడు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని, సిబ్బందిని అప్రమత్తం చేయడానికి పని స్వభావం ఆధారంగా అవసరమైన హెచ్చరిక ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేయాలని ఆయన అధికారులకు మరియు క్షేత్రస్థాయి సిబ్బందికి సూచించారు.
రైల్వే ప్రాంగణంలో ఎలాంటి అవాంఛనీయ సంఘటనలు జరగకుండా నివారించడానికి, భద్రతా పరికరాల నిర్వహణ మొదలైన భద్రతా జాగ్రత్తలను కూడా సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ సమీక్షించారు. ఆయన నాన్-ఇంటర్లాక్డ్ లెవెల్ క్రాసింగ్ గేట్లను కూడా పరిశీలించారు. అంతేకాకుండా, జనరల్ మేనేజర్ జోన్ అంతటా రైలు ఫిట్టింగ్ల నాణ్యతను సమీక్షించారు.

Hyderabad: Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway held a detailed review meeting on Safety of train operations across the Zone today at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, SCR and Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six divisions viz., Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Guntakal and Nanded Divisions participated through video conferencing.
Srivastava emphasized a structured and phased approach to problem-solving, with special focus on ensuring adequate safety measures across the zone on Train Operations. He highlighted the importance of conducting safety drives and inspections, particularly of points & crossings, safety point alarms, to further strengthen safety of tracks to prevent any miscreant activity. He instructed Officials and field staff to remain vigilant while works are in progress near the tracks and to issue necessary caution orders based on the nature of work for alerting the crew.
Sanjay Kumar Srivastava also reviewed the safety precautions including maintenance of safety equipments, etc to prevent any untoward incidents in Railway premises. He also took stock on non-interlocked level crossing gates. Further, the General Manager reviewed the quality of rail fittings across the zone.
