Hyderabad : Telangana state BJP President N Ramchander Rao termed Congress budget for 2026-27 a numerical gimmickry, a failed, false and fancy budget as government has zero results to show in term of public welfare or development.
Addressing a press conference at state office here, he criticized the 2026-27 annual budget introduced by the Congress government in the assembly as extremely disappointing. BJP state chief mocked Finance Minister and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka as he might have accidentally read last year’s budget speech, as there were no significant changes or additions compared to the previous year. He stated it was tragic that even after two and a half years in power, the government has zero results to show in terms of public welfare or development.
Rao expressed deep concern over the injustice meted out to the education sector. While the government claims an increase of Rs.1,000 crore, its share in the overall budget remains a mere 8 per cent. He pointed out that neighboring states like Andhra Pradesh (13 per cent) and Bihar (21 per cent) prioritize education far more. “Beyond boasting about ‘Integrated Universities,’ there isn’t a single genuine effort to improve the education system,” he remarked. Regarding the health sector, he accused the Revanth Reddy government of failing to clear Aarogyasri dues. He warned that transferring pensions and other benefits to the Aarogyasri department would eventually bankrupt the institution. He alleged the government is misleading people with fancy terms like “Future City” without showing where actual development is happening.
The BJP President clarified that the Aerospace industries, which the state claims as its achievement, are actually the result of Central schemes like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Startup India’ under PM Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and the adjacent Regional Ring Rail are entirely funded by the Centre, with the state government doing nothing beyond land acquisition. He highlighted that the Central Government has replaced MGNREGA with the “Viksit Bharat – Rozgar Ajeevika Mission (Rural)” (VB-GRAM JI) Act–2025, aligned with the ‘Viksit Bharat-2047’ vision.
“In the past, PM Rajiv Gandhi admitted that if the Centre sent one rupee, only 15 paise reached the beneficiary. Today, under Narendra Modi, every paisa reaches the poor man’s account directly,” he stated. Rao slammed the Congress for “blatant lies” regarding farmers. He noted that the government owes farmers over Rs. 45,000 per acre across five installments of Rythu Bharosa that were never paid. He also pointed out the total absence of the promised Rs 4,000 unemployment allowance and the Rs 2,500 financial assistance for women in this budget. He termed the lack of allocation for the “Six Guarantees” as a betrayal of the people.
He expressed anger over the demolition of poor people’s houses in the name of the Musi River Rejuvenation. He compared the current government’s approach to the “Sanjay Gandhi mindset” during the Emergency, referencing the Turkman Gate demolitions in Delhi. He questioned how the Musi project cost jumped from Rs 5,000 crore to Rs 7,000 crore in just two days, calling it a plan intended for “looting” rather than development. He accused the government of discrimination against Hindu temples. While demands for increasing priest salaries and Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyam budgets were ignored, the Minority Budget was increased by Rs 700 crore, which he termed “vote-bank politics.” He questioned how development is possible when the GHMC is being neglected and the city is being trifurcated. This budget has poured cold water on the hopes of the people. The BJP strongly condemned this ‘Failed Budget’ that stays far away from the poor,” Rao said.

హైదరాబాద్ : తెలంగాణ అసెంబ్లీలో ఈరోజు కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రవేశపెట్టిన 2026-27 వార్షిక బడ్జెట్ అత్యంత నిరాశాజనకంగా ఉందని బిజెపి రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షులు ఎన్. రాంచందర్ రావు విమర్శించారు. ఆర్థిక మంత్రి, డిప్యూటీ సీఎం భట్టి విక్రమార్క బహుశా పొరపాటున గత ఏడాది బడ్జెట్ నే చదివారేమో అన్న అనుమానం కలుగుతోందని, ఎందుకంటే పోయినసారి బడ్జెట్ కన్నా ఇందులో పెద్దగా మార్పులు చేర్పులు ఏమీ లేవని ఎద్దేవా చేశారు. అధికారంలోకి వచ్చి రెండున్నర సంవత్సరాలు దాటినా, ప్రభుత్వం ప్రజలకు ఏం చేసిందో, ఎక్కడ అభివృద్ధి జరిగిందో చెప్పుకోవడానికి ఒక్క రిజల్ట్ కూడా లేకపోవడం బాధాకరమన్నారు.
ముఖ్యంగా విద్యా రంగానికి ఈ బడ్జెట్లో తీరని అన్యాయం జరిగిందని రాంచందర్ రావు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. విద్యా రంగానికి గత ఏడాది కంటే రూ. 1000 కోట్లు పెంచినట్లు చూపిస్తున్నా, ఓవరాల్ బడ్జెట్లో దీని వాటా కేవలం 8 శాతం మాత్రమేనని గుర్తు చేశారు. పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాలైన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ (13%), బీహార్ (21%) తమ బడ్జెట్లో విద్యకు ఇస్తున్న ప్రాధాన్యతలో సగం కూడా తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఇవ్వడం లేదన్నారు. ‘ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్ యూనివర్సిటీలు’ అని గొప్పలు చెప్పడం తప్ప, విద్యా వ్యవస్థను మెరుగుపరిచే ఒక్క ప్రయత్నం కూడా కనిపించడం లేదన్నారు.
ఆరోగ్య రంగం విషయంలోనూ కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం అట్టడుగున ఉందని నిలదీశారు. ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ బకాయిలే ఇంకా చెల్లించలేని రేవంత్ ప్రభుత్వం, పెన్షన్లు, ఇతర బెనిఫిట్లను కూడా ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ డిపార్ట్మెంట్కే అప్పగించడం అంటే ఆ సంస్థను కూడా దివాళా తీయించడమేనని హెచ్చరించారు. అభివృద్ధి ఎక్కడ జరుగుతుందో చెప్పకుండా ‘ఫ్యూచర్ సిటీ’ అని ఫ్యాన్సీ పేర్లతో ప్రజలను మభ్యపెడుతున్నారన్నారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం తన ఘనతగా చెప్పుకుంటున్న ఏరోస్పేస్ ఇండస్ట్రీస్ అన్నీ కేంద్రంలోని నరేంద్ర మోదీ గారి ప్రభుత్వం ఇచ్చే పథకాలతో పాటు, ‘మేక్ ఇన్ ఇండియా’, ‘స్టార్టప్ ఇండియా’ పథకాల వల్ల వచ్చినవేనని స్పష్టం చేశారు. రీజనల్ రింగ్ రోడ్ (RRR), దాని పక్కన వచ్చే రీజనల్ రింగ్ రైల్ కూడా పూర్తిగా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఫండింగ్ అని, కేవలం భూసేకరణ తప్ప రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చేస్తున్నదేమీ లేదని ఎండగట్టారు.
మహాత్మాగాంధీ జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఉపాధి హామీ పథకం (MGNREGA) స్థానంలో, ‘వికసిత భారత్-2047’ దార్శనికతకు అనుగుణంగా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం “వికసిత్ భారత్ – రోజ్ గార్ అజీవికా మిషన్ (గ్రామీణ)” (VB-GRAM JI) చట్టం–2025ను తీసుకువచ్చింది. ఈ నూతన చట్టం ద్వారా లబ్ధిదారులకు నేరుగా రూపాయికి రూపాయి అందుతుందని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు. గతంలో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రధాని రాజీవ్ గాంధీ గారే స్వయంగా కేంద్రం రూపాయి పంపిస్తే.. లబ్ధిదారులకు చేరేసరికి 15 పైసలు మాత్రమే మిగులుతున్నాయని అన్నారని గుర్తు చేస్తూ, నేడు నరేంద్ర మోదీ గారి పాలనలో ఆ పరిస్థితి లేదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం పంపే ప్రతి పైసా నేరుగా పేదవాడి ఖాతాకే చేరుతోందని అన్నారు.
రైతుల విషయంలో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం పచ్చి అబద్ధాలు ఆడుతోందని రాంచందర్ రావు మండిపడ్డారు. ఐదు దఫాలుగా రైతు భరోసా ఇవ్వాల్సి ఉండగా, సరిగ్గా ఇవ్వకుండా.. ఇంకా ప్రతి రైతుకు ఇంకా సుమారు ఎకరాకు రూ. 45,000 కి పైగా బాకీ పడి ఎగ్గొట్టారని విమర్శించారు. నిరుద్యోగులకు ఇస్తామన్న రూ. 4000 నిరుద్యోగ భృతి కానీ, మహిళలకు ఇస్తామన్న రూ. 2500 ఆర్థిక సాయం గురించి కానీ ఈ బడ్జెట్లో ఎక్కడా కనిపించడం లేదన్నారు. ఆరు గ్యారంటీల అమలుకు సంబంధించి ఈ బడ్జెట్లో చోటు లేకపోవడం ప్రజలను వంచించడమేనన్నారు.
కాంగ్రెస్ సర్కారు మూసీ ప్రక్షాళన పేరుతో పేదల ఇళ్లను కూలగొట్టడంపై ఆయన తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఎమర్జెన్సీ కాలంలో సంజయ్ గాంధీ ఢిల్లీలో తుర్క్మాన్ గేట్ వద్ద పేదల ఇళ్లు కూలగొట్టిన ‘మైండ్ సెట్’ తోనే నేటి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం పని చేస్తోందని దుయ్యబట్టారు. మూసీ ప్రాజెక్ట్ వ్యయం రెండు రోజుల్లోనే రూ. 5000 కోట్ల నుండి రూ. 7000 కోట్లకు ఎలా పెరిగిందని రాంచందర్ రావు నిలదీశారు. ఇదంతా ఒక ప్లానింగ్ లేని విధానమని, కేవలం దోచుకోవడానికేనని ఆరోపించారు.
దేవాలయాల విషయంలో కూడా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం వివక్ష చూపుతోందని రాంచందర్ రావు విమర్శించారు. అర్చకుల వేతనాలు పెంచాలని, ధూప దీప నైవేద్యాలకు బడ్జెట్ పెంచాలన్న డిమాండ్లను పట్టించుకోకుండా, కేవలం మైనారిటీ బడ్జెట్ను రూ. 700 కోట్లు పెంచడం ఓటు బ్యాంక్ పాలిటిక్స్ లో భాగమేనన్నారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరాన్ని మూడు ముక్కలు చేసి జీహెచ్ఎంసికి బడ్జెట్ కేటాయించకుండా అభివృద్ధి ఎలా సాధ్యమని ఆయన ప్రశ్నించారు. ఓవరాల్గా ఈ బడ్జెట్ ప్రజల ఆశలపై నీళ్లు చల్లిందని, పేదలకు దూరంగా ఉన్న ఈ ‘ఫెయిల్డ్ బడ్జెట్’ ను బీజేపీ తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తోందని రాంచందర్ రావు స్పష్టం చేశారు.
