दुबई एयर शो में भारत का स्वदेशी लड़ाकू विमान तेजस दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया है। भारतीय वायु सेना ने दुबई एयरशो में तेजस के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने की पुष्टि की है। इस हादसे में विमान के पायलट को गंभीर चोटें आने की वजह से उनकी मौत हो गई है। यह हादसा दोपहर तकरीबन दो बजकर दस मिनट पर हुआ।
प्रदर्शनी दुबई के दूसरे सबसे बड़े अल-मक़तूम इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट पर हो रही है। जब हादसा हुआ तो एयरपोर्ट पर धुएं का गुबार उठा और सायरन की आवाज़ें सुनाई देने लगीं। सिंगल इंजन वाला तेजस लड़ाकू विमान पूरी तरह से स्वदेशी है। इसकी निर्माता कंपनी हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड है। इसी साल सितंबर महीने में भारतीय रक्षा मंत्रालय ने हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड के साथ 97 तेजस विमान खरीदने का सौदा किया था। इनकी आपूर्ति 2027 में शुरू होने की उम्मीद है।
Tejas Fighter Jet Crashes
A Tejas fighter jet crashed on Friday afternoon during a flying demonstration at the Dubai Air Show, sending a plume of thick black smoke over Al Maktoum International Airport as crowds looked on. The pilot died in the crash, the Indian Air Force (IAF) confirmed.
“An IAF Tejas aircraft met with an accident during an aerial display at the Dubai Air Show today. The pilot of the plane died due to serious injuries in this accident. Indian Air Force deeply regrets the loss of life and stands firmly with the bereaved family in this time of grief. A court of inquiry is being constituted to ascertain the cause of the accident,” the IAF said in a statement.
