హైదరాబాద్ : దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జనరల్ మేనేజర్ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ, వివిధ శాఖల ప్రధాన అధిపతులతో కలిసి, ఈరోజు సికింద్రాబాద్లోని రైల్ నిలయంలో జోన్ వ్యాప్తంగా రైలు కార్యకలాపాల భద్రతపై ఒక సవివరమైన సమావేశాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో ఆరు డివిజన్ల అనగా… విజయవాడ, గుంతకల్లు, గుంటూరు, సికింద్రాబాద్, హైదరాబాద్ మరియు నాందేడ్ డివిజనల్ రైల్వే మేనేజర్లు (డిఆర్ఎంలు) వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా పాల్గొన్నారు.
సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ, రైళ్ల రాకపోకలు సజావుగా సాగేందుకు ట్రాక్ల నిర్వహణ, నిరంతర పర్యవేక్షణ ఆవశ్యకతపై ఈ సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో ముఖ్యంగా ప్రస్తావించారు. జనరల్ మేనేజర్ ఈ నెలలో అధికారులు, సూపర్వైజర్లు నిర్వహించిన భద్రతా తనిఖీలపై సమీక్షించారు. సమర్థవంతమైన ట్రాక్ పెట్రోలింగ్ను నిర్ధారించడానికి కీమెన్లు, పెట్రోల్మెన్ల కోసం జీపీఎస్ ట్రాకర్ల లభ్యతను కూడా ఆయన పరిశీలించారు.
రాబోయే వేసవి కాలాన్ని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని స్టేషన్లలో, సెక్షన్లు/ట్రాక్లపై అవసరమైన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆయన అధికారులు మరియు సూపర్వైజర్లకు సూచించారు. జనరల్ మేనేజర్ భద్రతా పనులు చేపట్టేటప్పుడు పని ప్రదేశాలలో రక్షణపై నిరంతరం దృష్టి సారించడం, వివిధ విభాగాల మధ్య సమన్వయం యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యతను పునరుద్ఘాటించారు.
అంతేకాకుండా, శ్రీ సంజయ్ కుమార్ శ్రీవాస్తవ ప్రైవేట్ సైడింగ్లు మరియు గూడ్స్ షెడ్ల వద్ద సీసీటీవీ కెమెరాల ఏర్పాటుపై సమీక్షించారు. జనరల్ మేనేజర్ ఇంజనీరింగ్, సిగ్నల్ & టెలికమ్యూనికేషన్స్, మెకానికల్, ఎలక్ట్రికల్ మొదలైన వివిధ విభాగాలకు సంబంధించి జోన్ వ్యాప్తంగా నిర్వహిస్తున్న భద్రతా డ్రైవ్లను కూడా సమీక్షించారు.

Hyderabad : Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway held a detailed meeting on safety of train operations across the zone today at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Principal Heads of Departments. Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six divisions viz., Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions joined the review meeting through video conference.
During the review meeting, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava emphasized on maintenance of tracks and regular monitoring to ensure smooth movements of trains. The General Manager reviewed the summary of safety inspections carried out by officers and supervisors during the month. He also took stock of the availability of GPS trackers for keymen and patrolmen to ensure effective track patrolling.
He also advised all the officers and supervisors to take necessary precautions at stations and in sections/tracks to combat the ensuing summer season. The General Manager reiterated the importance of continued focus on worksite protection and seamless coordination between different departments while carrying out safety works.
Further, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava took stock on the provision of CCTV cameras at private sidings and goods sheds. The General Manager also reviewed safety drives being carried out across the zone pertaining to different departments such as engineering, signal & telecommunications, mechanical, electrical etc.
