Hyderabad: TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that even though the Congress was in power at the Center for ten years, Rahul Gandhi did not take any post. BRS leaders have no right to talk about the Gandhi family. He said it is irrational of BRS to say that the family which sacrificed their lives for the country is not entitled to visit Telangana.Revanth Reddy said that though the Congress-led UPA was in power at the Center for ten years, Rahul Gandhi did not take any post. He said that the Gandhi family had sacrificed the post of Prime Minister for the sake of the country. He spoke to the media in Hyderabad on Monday. The government resorted to all kinds of tricks to prevent people from coming to Jana Garjana Sabha. Revanth Reddy alleged that officials, BRS public representatives and the psycho minister there tried to stop people from coming to the meeting. He thanked the people and the leaders from Khammam for making the Telangana Jana Garjana Sabha successful in Khammam despite all conspiracies.
Revanth Reddy said that after the success of the Congress Sabha, all the hunting dogs came out and started barking except the original fox. They are questioning in what capacity Rahul has come here. “Rahul Gandhi is not a predatory family like you. He is the son of Soniamma who has given Telangana State. Rahul is the leader who came to the people with Bharat Jodo Yatra to sacrifice everything for the country. Who else in the country other than Rahul Gandhi has the right to visit Telangana,” asked Revanth Reddy. Rahul Gandhi’s family is the family that gave Telangana as per their promise and also sacrificed their positions and lives. “What is your qualification to criticise Rahul Gandhi? Twitter quail, those fixing drinks and every minister is questioning Rahul’s eligibility. Revanth Reddy commented, ‘No one who is in right mind will speak about Rahul’s eligibility.’ He said that the Congress party has a history of fulfilling all the promises it has made. Revanth Reddy demanded that the leaders of BRS mention which are the promises made by the Congress Party have not been fulfilled. should say which promises given by the Congress have not been kept.
“Many irrigation projects from Bakranangal to Nagarjuna Sagar, Sriram Sagar, Jurala, providing electricity to one lakh seven villages, public sector companies, Employment Guarantee Act, RTI, Food Security Act, reservation for BCs in universities, outer ring road for Hyderabad, international airport, IT companies, pharma to generate income for Hyderabad city. Congress party has brought many projects such as companies, metro rail,” said Revanth Reddy.
When we have brought so many projects, you have brought nothing but farm houses, paper and TVs? he asked. If Congress has not given Telangana who else has given it? he asked. He alleged that the properties of KCR’s family have increased enormously during these nine years after Telangana was formed. What are the assets of KCR’s family on June 2, 2014? What will be their family assets as on 2nd July 2023? Are they ready to discuss this? he challenged.

Revanth Reddy said that the Congress is committed to Rs.4000 pension. He said that if KCR stops corruption, pension can be given to 55 lakh pensioners as promised by Congress. He said they will give a pension of Rs.4000 just like Telangana. We will not let KCR come in the next election. We will fulfill every single promise we are making 100%…Earlier pension was only Rs.75, we have increased it Rs 200, he reminded the public. We will implement the pension promise we gave in Khammam Sabha yesterday. Presently the income of the state has increased a lot… now the pension can be increased to Rs 4000 without any difficulty.
Revanth Reddy countered the BRS leaders’ comments that 4,000 pensions are not being given in Congress-ruled states. “Schemes implemented by Karnataka are not available in Telangana. Grain is not bought here like in Chhattisgarh. So there are schemes based on the population needs and conditions of the respective states. The preferences are based on the income of the state. Our priority in Telangana is to give Rs 4000 pension,” said Revanth Reddy. Revanth Reddy said that we will not allow BRS to come to the opposition meeting in Bangalore..If they come shamelessly…BRS will be kicked out, he said.
“IT attacks on At Home Company. Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s husband and Joginipalli Santosh Rao are directors in this company. Later, Kalvakuntla Shatilama and Telukuntla Sridhar joined this company as Directors. KTR went to Delhi fearing that ED would come after IT. ED is under the purview of Amit Shah. Revanth Reddy demanded that if this is not the case, the petitions submitted for any development should be revealed.”
