हैदराबाद: शमशाबाद स्थित राजीव गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे (आरजीआईए) ने वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 में अब तक का सबसे अधिक यात्री ट्रैफिक और विमान गतिविधियों का रिकॉर्ड दर्ज किया। इस अवधि में आरजीआईए ने 2.91 करोड़ यात्रियों को लाभ पहुंचाया। यह पिछले साल की तुलना में 17 फीसदी अधिक है।
मार्च 2025 में ही 26 लाख यात्री आरजीआईए पहुंचे।इसमें घरेलू यात्रियों की संख्या 22 लाख और अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों की संख्या 4 लाख रही है। इसके अलावा विमान आवाजाही में भी वृद्धि दर्ज हुई है। इस दौरान कुल 1,99,349 विमानों की गतिविधियां हुई हैं। इस साल दर की 15 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी है।

इस साल मार्च में 18,398 उड़ानें दर्ज की गईं। इसके चलते हैदराबाद राजीव गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे को जीएमआर समूह के प्रमुख हवाई अड्डों में शामिल किया गया। इसमें दिल्ली, मोपा (गोवा), इंडोनेशिया का मेदान और फिलीपींस का सेबू एयरपोर्ट भी हैं। जीएमआर एयरपोर्ट्स ने मार्च 2025 में 1.05 करोड़ यात्रियों को लाभ पहुंचाया। इस तरह पूरे साल में 12 करोड़ से ज्यादा यात्री और 7.3 लाख उड़ानें दर्ज की हैं।

- Passenger Traffic: GMR Airports served 1.05 crore passengers in March 2025 and over 12 crore passengers in the entire year.
- Flight Movements: 7.3 lakh flight movements were recorded by GMR Airports in the financial year.
